  • 1484 minutes so far. I find that I actually get less minutes in as I improve my speed since most of my exercise is simply fitted into my regular routine. Where I used to walk 4 mph now it is just over 6. I don't drive so I walk everywhere: 3 miles to the store, 1 mile to BART, 2 miles to my daughter's school. It adds up. Stairs are everywhere too so I sprint up them and then I run sprints after each of my 5 meals a day as long as it isn't raining.

    I add running and actual exercise time as well as orchestra. I count other activities under exercise, but will be a 'purist' for this one. I'm building up training miles towards a half marathon, so should easily be able to do this.
