I'm 5'10''. Currently I weight 149 and I would like to get to 135. I was 136 before the accedent and while I was recovering (and in a state of depression), I gained 87 pounds. Now that I'm back to racing, I would like to get back to my competative weight.
  • Im 5'10" and I am at 239 lbs right now. I started at 258 lbs. As of right now my gw is 175lbs but is subject to change depending on how i feel. I want to be a "healthy" weight. Still got a LONG way to go!

:drinker: OMG...for once in my life I'm not tall enough. (5'9") LOL! Cheers to the Ladies with the long legs!!
  • I'm 6'0 and my goal is 160-165, at that weight I could wear a size 10. I'm getting there but it is taking alot of discipline on my part. I started at 210 and currently I'm at 186. A few more pounds and I should be able to wear my 14's again. Yippee!! Amazing to see the differences in body types for the same height.

My goal is 174; that puts me in a "normal" BMI range. I haven't been that low since high school (sad). If I can maintain that I think I would be super happy; I'd be a 12-14 then (I think; just going from memory!).

I am 5'11 and my goal weight is 160(any lower would make me look sickly) I haven't been lower than 165 in i don't know how long, so we will see if it is even possible. I am 180 right now and in a size 12, but i have big hips, so i most likely will NEVER fit in pants smaller than an 8(if that's even possible after having a baby). My husband says that 175 looks perfect on me, so it really all depends on your body type.

  • I'm 5ft 11 and when I joined MFP in May 2011 I weighed 357lbs, currently at 266lbs! I have never been slim in my life and have no idea what my ideal weight would be or what I would look like! I'm just setting 14lb goals at a time and I will stop when I look and feel healthy for my height and build!

@jayne_mel - Good luck. My SIL is very slender and she says that people don't realise that it is sometimes harder to put on weight than it is to lose it and, worst of all, no-one has any sympathy. Hope you make your goal weight soon :-)

Thanks, it's taken roughly 5 months for 8 pounds. Most people just tell me to eat pizza and that they wish it was them

I'm 5'10'', currently 153lbs and my goal weight is probably somewhere around 145... mostly just toned and fit though! I'm recovering from a knee injury unfortunately, though, so I'm quite limited in my cardio possibilities and getting frustrated :( I'll get there eventually though!!

    You were a size 4/6 when you weighed 172?? I'm currenlty 170 and I'm having a tough time fitting into my size 12's! Even when I'm 160, I'm still a size 10/12

I thought the same thing. I'm 5'10 and when I was 175, I was really lucky to fit in a 12, but I also have wide hips and a bizarrely large rib cage. Actually, I've been wearing a 14/16 whether I weigh 180 or 230 (my highest). I'm current 219 and would like to get back down to my college weight of 175-180. Honestly, I just want to be under 200, and anything after that is just vanity. My ob-gyn suggest I try to get to 210 before getting pregnant again, which I totally agree with. So, that's why I'm here!

    I know!

I'm 5'10" and think I fit into some 4/6's (some brands have more flattering vanity sizing) back in my 20's, when my weight was about 125.

As a teenager, I was thin and generally a size 9/10 (American).

I can squeeze into some American size 10's now at 145-ish.

UK sizes run roughly one up from American. (American 10= British 12, etc.) Depending on brand, of course. In the UK I think I wear about a size 14.

5'10" my goal weight after having my baby was 160, I'm now 155, but with low body fat which means that even most size 4 jeans are baggy on me, you can look at my before and afters, I started at over 200 pounds after each of my children, the lowest I have been is 140's but can't for the life of me figure out how I got there!

    I'm 5' 9" / 10" and I'm aiming to get to 160lbs - when I was that weight before I was wearing a UK size 12.

SW: 284 lbs (started MFP at 257lbs)
CW: 219 lbs (current dress size UK 18/20)
    GW: 160 lbs.
  • I'm 5'10" my CW is 184lbs (13st2lbs) and my GW is 168lbs (12st).

I carry most my weight round my belly and recently started carrying more on my thighs, urgh :(

Probably a low goal weight, but at one point I did get down to 150 and a size 4.

    I'm 5'10.5 and I weigh 155 and wear about a size 8.
I've got a good bit of muscle tone so I think I would be in the 140's if I didn't have the muscle.
I'm going for 145 at the moment but I don't know when I'll actually stop losing weight. lol.

I'm mainly just aiming for a 27.5 inch waist.

    Love this! I am 5'10"
    SW: 250
    CW: 199
    GW: 180 (then 160)

I spent a brief amount of time at 135-140, size 10 in my early 20's. Looking back I looked sick and may have had a touch of an eating disorder.
After my first baby I lost wt the right way and got to 165, size 10/12. I was shocked since the last time I could wear 10, I was 140.... just goes to show how different muscles make you look! Anyway, I would absolutely love to be back in 10s (with muscle tone!)
