Oh boy oh boy... I went to the 99 cent store yesterday and scanned the the candy isles for some low cal treats and I came across Nestle's Crunch Stix's in Chocolate and Cappicino for only 90 calories a stix.. They are such a great satisfying chocolate treat! A box of 6 for 99cents you can't go wrong!

What types of spreads/butter, margarine, what ever you all call it do you use?

Brummel and Brown is what we use as a spread. 45 cals a TBSP and tastes better than real butter to me, a little bit salty. I don't think it bakes as well as real butter, but great on toast or a baked potato. Use the butter spray on popcorn alot. Jicama is really good like someone mentioned,,,I slice it, squeeze some lime juice and sprinke with chipotle chili powder and salt or Tapatio hot sauce... Next to no calories and sweet, salty, crunchy and spicy.. I am loving peppermint tea with a tiny bit of honey, nice and warm + sweet at the end of the day. I LOVE the chipotle Tabasco sauce. I haven't had Wasa crackers in forever..I will have to look for those and the streusel shredded wheat, I could eat frosted shredded wheat by the handfull...Why am I seeing this AFTER the grocery store this am:grumble:

    Jicama - it's a Spanish root... a little starchy & sweet.

I tried it tonight to go with the Slow Cook Salsa Chicken. It's a South Beach Diet Phase 1 recipe - jicama, black beans, tomatoes, cilantro & cumin. Loved it.

    Blue Diamond - Nut-Thins - Pecan Rice Crackers, 6.4 crackers (30g)

I was trying out some new products and these are worth the extra money! Serving size is 16 crackers......but I only eat 6-8 with my cheddar or cottage cheese.

    Yummy!:flowerforyou:

One of my favorite restaurant foods I would have never ordered before I joined MFP is the "Weight Management Pear and Endive salad" from The Cheesecake Factory. A lot of people avoid the place because the portinos are HUGE and unhealthy. However, the entire salad is 500something calories, and I have yet to finish it in one sitting.

I'm absolutely loving the double chocolate vitatop! They are spectacular! I eat one with one tablespoon of peanut butter before I work out every day! It feels like an indulgence but it's less than 100 calories, high fiber, high protein!

plain yogurt-- yum yum!!!! With Kashi nuggets on top--

No sugar-- love the taste-- so healthy for me!!
  • Sargento Salad Finishers have really helped me to look forward to eating salads every day. It adds about 120-150 calories to your salad, depending on what kind you get. My favorite is the cranberry, pecan, and asiago cheese combo. My husband loves the Chef Salad mix (ham, turkey, cheese, and croutons).

Laughing Cow light cheeses, they are new to me. I use them on crackers, toast, english muffins, everything. So good!

Yes I love the Laughing Cow light cheeses! I've been using them as a subsitute for butter on my sweet potatoes, etc.
