Totally using this thread to make my grocery list.
Looking foward to weekly shopping at the Farmers Markets in a couple of weeks. Can't go wrong with locally grown produce.

    Great Ideas!

    I also always have

    whole grain tortilla
    whole grain pasta
low fat cheese (learning how to limit cheese has been instrumental in my weight loss, but I can't live without it)
    popcorn

    are these clean?

:My friends and I have been doing a lot of reading on clean eating and have 'dabbled' in it some ourselved. We've found some awesome websites, it you want to try googling it. One we love is www.100daysofrealfood.com.

One of the things I've learned in all the reading I'm doing is check labels on everything. Make sure you can read and understand everything in the ingredients, but also, everyone is saying that the ingredient list should be 5 ingredients or less to be considered clean. Depending on what I'm eating, I may choose items that have more than 5, but only if they are all real food. Like I've found some live bars, nothing processed in them and they have a lot of ingredients, but all of them are nuts and grains, nothing artificial.

It's a fun process, good luck with it! There's a lot to learn and it's quite satisfying (for me anyway) when I follow it completely.

Most of this stuff on the list isn't to bad looking. I didn't know how hard eating clean would be.

cut up fresh veggies kept in a storage box: red & yellow pepper, cucumber, cauliflower, baby carrots (only 3-5 at a time though, more calories per one than other fresh veggies)
low fat, light yogurt & 1% milk
frozen blueberries (put in blueberry yogurt, YUM)
    fresh fruit, whatever in season
sweet potatoes, small amount olive oil, season all & pepper, baked
zuccini, yellow squash, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, baked same way as sweet potatoes
carmel corn rice cakes (only 50 calories, gives satisfaction of sweet & crunchy)
my splurge is Honey Wheat pretzel rods, 8 have 110 calories
turkey sausage, cut into 8 sections of 100 calories each
sounds crazy, but I like the 45 calorie fat free turkey weiners by Oscar Mayer in a 80 calories wheat bun by Sarah Lee.
    grilled chicken tenders
oatmeal & Fiber One original are my breakfasts cereals
a whole egg & a white scrambled one morning a week

these are on my menu EVERY Week, I've reached my goal, now I have to change mind set & start adding more calories to maintain. What should I add?
