Sounds awesome, I definitely am going to try that one of these days. I love pizza and this may work well for when I want pizza without as many of the calories/carbs.0
-
Have to try that.0

I love your spatula!

Wow this recipe got me all excited. I've been having a hard time with the urge to have pizza. We went shopping today and this was on the list. I couldn’t find any low Cal tortillas though. Wife brought up hey want not use the light English muffins!!! 90 calories per muffin, 8 slices of turkey peperoni 35 calories, 1 tablespoon pizza sauce est 15 calories, pinch of low fat mozzarella est 15 calories.
TOTAL Calories for 2 mini pizzas = 155. So instead of the tortilla you have the deep dish feel when biting into it. Im hooked, thanks for the idea.

Oddly enough, this idea popped into my head last night -- without seeing this thread!
I tried my own version of this for lunch this afternoon. Mine came out to about 300 cals with the ingredients I had on hand, but was very tasty and satisfied that pizza craving I'd had all week.0 -
Oh, that looks good!
My husband and son would freak out over that spatula!!0 -
Looking forward to trying out some of these variations!
Have any of you ever used portobello mushrooms as the crust? Tasty.
And since I almost bought this, and similar items, for my husband not too long ago....

thanks for sharing...pizza is one of my favorites0
-
You're right! That spatula is awesome!0

a slice of pepperoni/sausage pizza is only aroun 250 cals.. why fight it and you won't have to feel like you're depriving yourself or 'dieting..' then again, if you can't stop at 1-2 slices, go for it.0

Thanks for the great idea, and that's the best spatula I have ever seen!
I make english muffin pizzas in the toaster oven. Thomas's light english muffin, Spread on a garlic and herb laughing cow light cheese wedge (1 will do both halves of english muffin), a few swirls of pizza sauce (I use contadina in squirt bottle since I use so little at a time, and it's convenient), and 4 slices of turkey pepperoni on each half. Toast until crispy/browned! 185 Calories0 -

Pizza is my favourite food... I do the same thing except with 45 cal/slice bread toasted, some marinara sauce, a heap of veggies and a 30 cal slice of cheddar cheese and baked in the oven. Yumm!0
-
2 "bread pizzas" are about 220 cals!0
-
Thx I surely will try!0
-
It looks great just curious would pitta bread work just as well ??0
