    I had a coworker tell me the other day that he has a friend who swears he builds muscle best by following this nightly routine: Lift weights, eat 50 grams of protein, watch 30 minutes of porn, go to bed. I laughed in the guys face... he swears it's because watching porn pumps in testosterone that will build muscle while you sleep. lol

    Lol I think it has more to do with what he's doing while he's watching it. Definitely knitting. I can't think of what else it could be.

    Every trainer at the gym tries to push this "Fat Burning Zone" BS in regards to cardio, ...I guess my HIIT is "doing more harm than good" and I should go get a magazine to read while on the treadmill.

    Every trainer at the gym tries to tell me that I need to eat intermittently throughout the day to keep my metabolism burning, and they use the "stoking the camp fire" analogy.

    I was told that it's better to drink beer/alcohol heavily just one day a week rather than have a beer every night because your body will cease to burn anything else until the alcohol is gone.

    I was told not to eat late at night because it's stored as fat.

    ^^^ 24 Hr Fitness.

    pecan pie maybe, but cake? Come on that's just silly. The sugars can enter your bloodstream through your eyes by electromagnetic radiation from really sugary foods.

    Haha, agreed. If vodka were calorie free, I would be getting drunk waaay more often.

    How about the one that you can target burn fat by working out that body part. Like doing crunches will burn belly fat, or doing squats will burn butt fat.

    "oh, he's just big boned"
    "no reason to worry she'll grow out of it"

    Hm, it couldn't be the fact that your child is not outside running around and is eating nothing but junk all day long....
