I have been having peanuts because I like to eat them slowly with my tea, but they always put me over in my macros for fat. I need to find a different evening snack that is protein...

low fat turkey, almost always, and low fat cottage cheese or a slice of multi-grain bread. The turkey helps me bump up the protein macro which is always a struggle for me.0
-
Greek Yogurt:)0

Turkey would be good. I also seem to end up with some protein to make up and yet I want to stray towards the fats&sats... Maybe I should get some ham cubes.0
-
I cup strawberries mixed with 1/2 cup cottage cheese. only 140 calories 9 grams protein and tastes great0

Usually some salmon or tuna with some kind of dressing, or grilled cottage cheese and something on toast, today I am having creamed rice with a bit of jam, yum.0

Usually a small square of dark chocolate! Sometimes an ounce of reduced fat cheddar. Depends on my cravings - sweet or salty...
ETA: Yeah, I didn't read. You want protein. My chocolate isn't helpful, but the cheese has a significant amount.0 -
yogurt, or some pineapple0
-
Half a multigrain tortilla with a thin layer of peanut butter and honey drizzle!0
-
A couple of small glasses of red wine.0
-
Sliced apple with a TBSP of PB0

Sometimes I will have a string cheese and a serving of pretzel crisps.0 -
string cheese!0

My very new favorite is a banana cream whey shake... I JUST purchased some GNC pro performance banana cream whey a couple days ago and was blown away at how good it was... which is really weird to say because I usually HATE the taste of most protein powders lol0

100 cal popcorn *blush*0

Greek yogurt or homemade popcorn --- if you care about your sodium, watch out for that cottage cheese/string cheese stuff before bed....0
-
Right now I'm having an apple and a cheese stick. Last night I ate half a large watermelon. I'm breastfeeding and need to be eating about 3000 calories a day. I eat whatever I can at night since I seem to have a hard time eating during the day.0

This has been my snack of choice almost every night lately!! Except I add chocolate chips to it. Maybe not the best but it makes me happy and it's the only sweet I have for the day so I don't feel too guilty.0 -
cereal with my fave almond milk or some kind of fruit
this !
I will do sugary bad cereal.. but not a ton. just enough to hit the spot cookie crisp is only 100 calories!0 -
APPLE0

I love the yocrunch pie parfaits at the end of the day, 120 calories, low fat... and the apple really tastes like apple pie!0
-
Popcorn.
Fav is with real butter and parmesan cheese. To stay low on calories I'll use Pam butter spray and any kind of spice from my spice cupboard such as lemon- pepper, garlic, nutmeg, cinnamon, even a little hot sauce sometimes0 -
0% Fage with pb2, seeds and a little jam mixed in, or a bag of organix apple rice cakes.0
-
1 scoop vanilla protein (I use DYMATIZE ELITE WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE)
2oz crushed ice
6 oz water
1/2 banana
Blend til smooth (I use a Hamilton Beach Personal Blender..LOVE it!!)
Tastes like a rich banana milkshake

Edamame's or soy beans are about 11-14g protein per 1/4 cup and are awesome.0 -
A 1/2 cup (give or take a bit) of Skim Ricotta + packet of Splenda + vanilla extract + some semi sweet chocolate chips, so good! Sometimes I add some chopped up strawberries too!0
-
Mine is a handful cocoa roast almonds and a glass of red wine, which probably doesn't help you much.0
-
Homemade Protein bars :happy:0
