Holy geez, I just have to say thank you to those of you who are sharing recipes. I'm still reeeeally new to this, so I'm still stuck in the "I'll just buy a bunch of pre-made shakes from Costco" mindset. These are wonderful, and you can get so creative with them!0

I'm a huge fan of Torani sugar-free syrups. I add them to chocolate or vanilla protein powder to create just about anything. I keep a good stash at home - peanut butter and coffee are two of my favorites. With peanut butter I also add a tiny bit of salt so it's not overly sweet, and gives the taste of a saltier peanut butter without the added calories. And cinnamon goes great in just about everything.
I also will do a pumpkin pie spice combo (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger) in vanilla. Flavored extracts also work well for a subtle flavor-add without additional sweetness.
And for my base I usually use unsweetened almond milk. At 35 cals/cup, it's rich and creamy with good calcium and is a good balance to the sometimes over-sweetened powders.0 -
A few drops mint extract
Mint goes great with both chocolate and vanilla bases! Yum!0 -
I freeze leftover coffee and blend with choc powder and a half cup of milk....0
