You guys really gotta try these! Gonna make my second batch today and will definitely try stevia. These and the 40 calories bread keep me from binging!0

I made these yesterday. They are FABULOUS! Just as good, if not better, then the ones you buy commercially that are 300-400 calories each. This recipe is a keeper for sure.0

Yum! I just made these and am having one now They're sooooo good! They're sooooo good!
I subbed reg. apple sauce for unsweetened apple sauce and swapped out half the sugar for Truvia to cut down on calories a teensy bit more to 60 cals/muffin (not that these really needed to be cut down...haha). I also added 1/4 tsp nutmeg in. Delicious!
I made a cream cheese ish frosting (it's a stretch to call it cream cheese frosting) to put on top, too. I used:
1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
 2 tbsp light cream cheese
 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
 3 packets Truvia
Little tangy haha, but if you like Greek yogurt, I think it's close enough! My brother who despises Greek yogurt isn't a fan of the frosting, but I like it. Putting some frosting on top adds about 10 calories per muffin.0

Also from experience of working in a kitchen and baking cakes after cooling you can put the extras in a freezer bag and take one out as needed so its not a big temptation to eat all 12 of them in a couple of days
I did just that and they tasted great..0

Thank you so much! Great recipe! They actually taste really good. I used regular unsweetened apple sauce with 1 tsp of cinnamon, regular liquid eggs and whole wheat flour. Here is how they came out:
I used unsweetened applesauce also and cinnamon and they tasted great0
