All right...I can figure out from context that NSV means good stuff from getting in shape. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it stands for. A vowel anyone?

    - I could do more than 1 (real) push up.
    - Seeing muscle definition (its slight but its getting there)
    - I walked past a mirror and saw I was finally getting a butt, rather than being a pancake *kitten*!
    - Feeling noticeably stronger, higher endurance
    - Clothes are fitting better.

    These are awesome!

Yesterday I bought a UK size 8 dress (previously a very tight 12 in denial of bigger sizes)
This morning I went rowing, and then went to pizza hut and was feeling fat, BUT just got back from an evening gym session and I ran at 10.5km/hour!

Some coworkers saw me coming out of the gym while we were at a work conference in Vegas. They told me I looked like I just got out of prison and quite a few people I ran into that week had heard people talking about it and started asking me nutrition / fitness questions.

I guess they weren't expecting the quiet engineer to be going beast mode. :)
