Lately, I've been on an almond milk kick, but haven't tried the others... Dairy kills my belly.

soy give me a gross after taste, it's to thick and way to sweet...I haven't tried rice milk though...i'm stuck on almond breeze 60 calories0

I substituted vanilla soy milk when a recipe called for milk. My DH is lactose intolerance and we were out of Lactaid. The recipe turned out great.0

Cant handle the soy milk but I do use the almond milk. I like the chocolate for a yummy snack and I bake cakes and all sort of things with the vanilla almond milk. Its great0

I LOVE Almond milk as well, I do like Rice milk and I do like Coconut milk....I do use a TEENY bit of soy milk in my morning coffee as I find it is closer in taste to Reg milk and the above I don't care for in my coffee....
I also try to get Organic when I can....
Usually Unsweetened Vanilla or Unsweetened Reg0 -

I absolutely love Almond Milk and that's pretty much all the family uses now. Have used it in recipes without any problems. Love the way oatneal tastes made with almond milk, yummo!0

Almond milk, rice has too much sugar and Dr. said no soy, due to my thyroid condition, apparently thyroid meds and soy don't mix.0

I'm all about the almond milk right now. I tried it a few times, liked it, then when I realized there were 40-60 calorie versions I was hooked. I used to eat a lot of cereal, so it made huge difference to the amount I could eat.
I've tried rice milk, it was alright, and certain soy milks are okay. But I think almond milk has the least calories.0 -
I really like the SO Delicious ones......I can't tell the difference between Almond and Coconut milk.
Taste wise I prefer Silk, but soy is a no no for my thyroid.0 -

Definitely almond milk for cereal or for drinking. And I prefer unsweetened.
But for smoothies I do soy.0 -

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk has the lowest amount of calories (40 in a cup!) and is my personal favorite. I drank rice dream for a long time (love it) but when I am watching my weight I stick to Almond Breeze. Soy milk tastes okay, however, too much soy is dangerous for anyone (especially women) as it increases estrogen levels. Good luck!0

since soy causes your body to produce estrogen, too much of it can be harmful for your hormone balance. so i drink almond almost exclusively (plus i think it's SO much better). the original silk kind is already naturally sweet, so it's better to avoid the sugar and drink that.0

I like the low fat vanilla rice milk on my cereal, but there's no calcium so need to take a supplement. I use the original Silk coconut for cooking.
I quit drinking milk at 25 and - what a surprise! - my skin totally cleared up! Unfortunately, when you stop drinking milk, you lose the enzymes to digest it. Interestingly enough, I can still eat small amounts of cheese, yogurt or sour cream w/o adverse effects, but not regular milk or half & half. and I always use butter, not margarine. There is virtually no lactose in butter.
Every body is different, keep trying new stuff to see what works best for you.0 -
I persoanlly like Almond Milk it's pretty good especially Silk's PureAlmond Brand that line seems to taste pretty good. I also love Coconut Milk and Oat Milk which these are good for coffee. As for Soy Milk it's a big NO NO for me I throw it up as soon as I drink it. I haven't tired Rice Milk yet.0

Soymilk is a good source of protein... I have seen as much as 9 grams of protein per cup, for unsweetened plain soymilk. I use this often. On the other hand, it may not be as good of a choice for someone who is allergic to soy or has thyroid conditions.
Rice milk is less allergenic than soy, but most sweetened rice milk has a lot more calories than almond milk.
Coconut milk is a good source of medium chain fatty acids, which are good for you. I think the refrigerated coconut milk is healthier than canned, as the canned is much higher in fat and not as fresh.
There is also hempmilk as well, which is probably one of the healthiest options, and it has a good omega 3-6-9 balance.
I personally use a combo of soymilk, almondmilk, coconut milk, and hempmilk. (I get all of these in the plain version either unsweetened, or low sweetened. Often I throw them in cereal or in smoothies, so the extra sweetness is not needed.) The soymilk is for times when I want to up my protein, the almond milk is for when I want to keep my calories lower, the coconut milk is to throw in some healthier fats (or add it to a savory dish), and the hempmilk is also when I want some healthy fats with a bit of protein thrown in as well.0 -
Not a fan of rice milk. I like almond and soy though, especially the Silk brand.0
