Jewcybabe and momma2teacher...I don't know why you two would want to get out of May so quickly...you both had good progress. My in my head calculations is saying it was more than 1.5 pounds a week for each of you...that's nothing to shake a stick at. You're both doing great...steady progress over the long term.

Thank you to Roni :flowerforyou: for so abley taking over while Kirsten is away, it is very much appreciated!

As to Challenges for the week, it seems to be difficult to come up with something new each week. So I have one new challenge, and one old one for us this week.

    The Old Challenge:

This originated from Kirsten our very first week, and is responsible for putting me on the losing track I think ~~~~ drink, and track, at least 8 cups of water a day. :drinker: The tracking is equally important. I noticed when I started to slack off on the tracking my empty bottles didn't add up as fast!

    The New Challenge:

We are nearing the end of this Challenge, a time when some of us may find our enthusiasm and spirit waning. Your challenge this week is to pick at least one person from our Challenge list and send them a personal message of encouragement. We can all use a little boost now and then.

May we all be a little lighter next week. Cheers, Carole

Roni - thanks for getting the chart together!

    Carole - Wonderful challenges!

I think this next weigh in is a "mini-goal" weigh in. I'd really like to hit mine so I have to bust it out this week!

    Hugs to all,
    Amy

Great challenges Carolemack! I always get 8 - 10 cups of water but never remember to log it.

Love the second one as well! I don't think I would have stuck to this for as long as I have without the support of this online community. It really is great to have people cheering you along and kicking your butt when needed!

Next week is a mini-goal week! I'm not going to make mine, but am still happy that I'm making progress even if it's slower than I had hoped.

    Good luck this week! :flowerforyou:

The chart looks great - Thanks Roni for keeping it up.

Nice challenges - We need that water for the body & encouragement for the mind/spirit.

Great challenges this week....I have been slacking again on the water so that is a great reminder. And I will find someone to send a message too..it really does help so much to get that word of encouragement. I need to visit often....keep myself on target. I did start out at the gym this morning with my very sore knees...but I did it!

Roni....thank you for doing the chart.

Kristen...as always, you do a great job with this challenge.

    Carol....thanks for this week's challenges......Let's DO This!!!
    Have a great day,
    Sally

ahhh I was very busy at the end of last week with work and the holiday weekend and didn't realize I missed the weigh in.....I got a little off track over the weekend but I had the NSV of feeling better in my bathing suit at the beach than I did last summer, and so I'm motivated to get right back on track and keep plugging along!

I was going to quit but I may as well see this through and see if I can make some sort of come back. Man...my emotional eating has killed me with all the stress I've been under. I gotta do something or I'm going to have a stroke. Stress isn't a laughing matter...and I'm too stressed for my own good. So....here is to a bunch of walks through Tiger Town (my local park) and major meditation. God is good...I really need to hand my stress over to him. Thanks Amy for your encouragement during this time. :flowerforyou:

As well as bumping the post I figured I may as well let everyone know how the doctors went after my last post.
I was diagnosed with 'mild depression' on Monday. I guess I'm not too surprised and it's a relief to know I'm not asthmatic (had some crazy breathing issues). I'm having Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (definitely didn't want the AD's after hearing the side effects). I've finally absorbed/accepted it and it explains my odd behaviour the last few months which was the reason me and the bf broke up. As strong as my feelings are for him my POA is to concentrate on me then maybe see if we can be friends and perhaps I will explain it all to him, I guess if we're meant to be it will happen.
I started volunteer work this week so I am definitely grateful to the distraction it provides and hopefully it will help boost my CV so that some crazy person will give me a job!
Loving this weeks challenges so now comes the time to pick someone to send a supportive message!
Hope y'all have a good weekend, I'm definitely looking forward to the bank holidays Monday and Tuesday (to all you people from the US we have the Queens 60th Jubilee!!)

So sorry I have been MIA the last couple of weeks. I have been out of town the past 2 Mondays. I weighed in but forgot to post (even after reminding myself to not forget)! Well I will still keep track of the goals that I set for myself and keep an eye out for the next go round. Good luck everyone on attacking your goals!!:drinker:

You're still on the chart so you are still in! If it's easier to weigh in over the weekend, that's perfectly fine too. I usually do mine on Sunday so I don't forget. :drinker:

Roni, thank you for filling in for Kristen....you are doing a great job.

I have been struggling for months to start losing weight again. I've been on a very long plateau. I spent most of my training time talking with my trainer about my eating and nutrition. No big surprise that I was NOT eating enough for the extreme amount of exercising that I have been doing.....I have changed my fat to muscle and I obviously have not been fueling my body......The surprising thing was that I cried at the prospect of having to eat more.I It is very scary to have to increase my food intake!!...I have been working so hard to eat less and exercise more, that the prospect of having to up my calories by a significant amount was daunting to me.....

I have significantly increased my protein in the last 2 days, but have not gotten the calories to where they need to be yet....I'm feeling like I have to eat all the time. I have my yearly physical on Monday, so I will make more changes after that. I may not show great changes in weight for a few weeks until I get this figured out, but I will eventually get it. I thank you all for your continued support!!

I hope everyone has had a great week! Have a wonderful weekend:-)

I've finally lost my first 50 pounds of all this weight I need to lose. I'm so freaking excited. I actually early treated myself the other day by buying some new workout gear (tops, bras and pants) because my old ones are getting a little too large. I also bought a new dress and a cute new top. I feel completely AMAZING and I'm even more motivated to keep on just losing to be a winner. :)

So I realized I actually copied the wrong old chart into this week's report (as it was missing the numbers for 5/28 which were the same as 5/21) so this is the actual report that I have fixed in this copy of the chart. I apparently just noticed it too late to be able to edit the post.

So once again, my weigh in for the week of 6/4 is 251.2!
