  • Yum!!! I've never even heard of Pistachio pudding mix ... I wonder if we have it here in Canada. I'm definitely gonna have to go on a search for it now! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!

Yup, we do. Just not sugar free, unfortunately. :-(

Awww, phooey! Well, I'm gonna look for it anyways. Maybe I can manage to work it into my calorie allowance for the day.

Sounds great! Add whey protein powder (approx 110 cal, 25 g protein depending on brand) and make this filling and satisfying. :-)

Thanks for this idea! I made it with 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup water and a scoop of protein powder and it was great! Tasted like the pistachio ice cream I crave.

Totally stole your idea!! Here's the version I did for breakfast this morning:

    1 c almond milk
    3/4 medium frozen banana
1 Tblsp coconut cream pudding mix
    1 Tblsp chia seeds
1 scoop french vanilla protein powder
    1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp coconut extract

Holy casserole was it ever GOOD!!! New fav! Hands down!! Best smoothie I've had in a while!!! Check out my diary for 6/1/12 if you want the specs. it's open to the public.

Wow, you weren't kidding, this milkshake is HUGE. I felt a little guilty about using skim milk at first because it nearly doubled the projected calorie count, but when I actually made it, I realized I'd be halving the recipe anyway. I don't even have a cup big enough for it, lol!

It tastes great, thanks! :) I made mine with chocolate pudding mix because that's the only SF/FF version my grocery store carries.

Just made this tonight. Used Silk unsweetened milk, and added 5 mini oreos. It was great! I will definitely make it again. Huge shake for around 135 calories even after adding my cookies.

I didn't have a shamrock shake so I can't compare, but I did put the peppermint extract in this and HOLY COW!
