    I'm in!!! I've been meaning to start Jillian and this a great way to be accountable. Starting it tonight!

    I'm in too! I started yesterday. I have done level one here and there never day after day well let's see what happens in 30 days!!! We got this!!!!!!

    level 1 day 4 and I can finally just about to these side lunge things (where you lift the weights 'up to your eyes at the same time)'. Owwwwwww
    I swear those are the hardest for me to get through! I even drop my weights and can still barely do it lol

    Okay, I feel like a complete fitness LOSER! I could only manage 10 minutes of 30 day shred by Jillian on week 1 doing the easy modify, I plan on doing 10 minutes in another hour or so; but, man am I out of shape! Will I ever be able to do it all?:blushing: :sad:

    please don't feel bad. the first time i tried it, i made it 13 minutes in and quit. i stuck it back on the shelf with a grumble and wondered why anyone would intentionally subject themselves to that kind of torture! the second time i tried it, i made it through... now i'm running up to 10 miles at a time. you'll be okay, just stick with it. do as much as you can, pause it and take a break, then do it again. it DOES get easier. YOU CAN DO THIS! :flowerforyou:

    Thank you soooooo much for the encouragement, this is my first time trying something other than walking. I have managed to keep myself walking 4 x a week for the last 8 months. I will keep trying and pray I get through it someday...:smooched:

    Will do level 1 day 3 today!! i am super sore but I am doing New Rules of Lifting for Women too. (on stage 3 of that)

    I am so hoping for some weight loss.

    Well just finished Day 1 Level 1 and boy do I know I've done a workout!!! Feel pretty good about it though - roll on tomorrow!!!

    Just did Day 1 and feeling good! I'm excited because, if I stick with it and do the 30 days, I'll be done the day before my birthday!

    Just keep going! ! Do what you can you will improve faster than you think. The first time I did it I would lay on the floor in the fetal position when I was done wondering how 20 min could be so hard! !

    I finished Day 3 Level 1 today...and OH MY GOSH it hurts to walk...my thighs and calves are KILLING me! It has to get easier to deal with. Keep it up! We can do this!!!

    Hi everyone,

    Can I join? I'm going to start 30DS as soon as I get off of work today. I did 20 days of it 3 years ago with my daughter and it was still hard. But now I have been doing P90X 4-5 days a week, with the exception of the last week :(, so I feel like I am in way better shape than I was back then. I just feel P90X takes up too much time. I really liked it, but I'm not much of a morning person and thats when I would have to do it.

    I will post my stats in a bit.

    Just completed DAY 1 of 30DS!! Holy crap! I almost gave up before I could even begin when I couldn't get the DVD player in my school's weight room to work, nor a laptop, or a desktop. FInally, I went back to my classroom and used a desktop there only to find that there was no sound! GRRR!! By then I was pi$$ed! The frustration helped me stick through it even when I thought my lungs and quads where going to give out! I kept thinking of this thread and knew that I had to keep going!!

    Will post my measurements whenever I find a tape, and my beginning weight is 227.

    OK, today was my first day...D1L1... was excited it was only 20 minutes long (lol)!

    My starting stats:
    SW: 185.0
    NK:13 1/4"
    B:41"
    W:43 1/4"
    H:49 1/4"
    Arms:15"
    Thighs: 25 1/4"

    I am still doing my usual exercises too, so hoping for some awesome results! My goal is to not have to do girl push ups by the end.

  • I'm in! Just started yesterday, and hopefully I can convince myself and my husband to do it everyday. For those of you that have done it before-- does the all over soreness go away after a few days, or will it be here all month?

    I'm starting Level 2 tomorrow and I'm scared from reading this thread. I haven't even peeked to see what is ahead. I'm amazed already at my increased endurance and arm strength from Level 1. This is an amazing workout.
