Ugh I am going to have to run on the dreadmill this morning. I told myself I would not allow myself to ever run on it during marathon training except for speed work, but I missed my only opportunity to do it outside this morning, when I turned my alarm off at 4am and went back to sleep. UGH! Will check back in later after I do it.

Is it too late to join? I've been marathon training and while I joined the 100 mile thread at the beginning of the month I only log my 3 weekly runs.

    So far my mileage is:

    6/1 3.18
    6/3 3.25
    6/6 4.31
    6/8 4.20

So far 14.94. I definetly want to surpass the 50 mile mark by 6/30.

Ran a half marathon today and I placed 2nd in my age group (: the course was beautiful, a bit hilly but the scenery made up for it.

Feeling good, ribs held up well. I had a minor crick in my shoulder / neck area earlier this week but went to a chiropractor who fixd it right away.

    43.5 miles for the month.

:) I'll know tomorrow! Working 7p-7a now and it's to be 90+ tomorrow so I'm doing my run when I get home around 8 am. My breakfast sometimes just doesn't cut it after a few nights in a row.

Can I still get in on this? I know it is late. I was running 150-160/month last summer but have been more focused on weight training and losing my motivation to run. I would love to get in on this group to help push myself.

Let me know if I can join this late.

    Thanks!

Just found this thread. I'm starting training for a mini Sprint Triathlon, so am keeping my running to 50 miles in June.
Ran a 10K yesterday, so taking it easy today.

    7.12 mile run in 1hr19m48s, Avg Pace 11:13mm, Splits 11:48 - 11:51 - 11:22 - 12:12 - 11:06 - 10:37 - 9:32 - last 0.12 in 1:20, Temp 82, Dew Point 74, slight breeze, Sunny. Legs felt better and better as the run went on.

I hadn't planned to run the last few miles that fast. Guess I was mad at myself for letting mile 4 get so slow. I'm thinking that since I can run a 9:32 mile at the end of 7 miles, that a sub 27 minute time in my 5k race in a couple weeks is fairly likely.

Ran right by a Sand Hill Crane that was on the sidewalk, got within a foot of it. All it did was stare at me as I went by, lol. Flushed out a flock of 8 White Ibis birds from some bushes. Didn't even see them till they took off.

Weekly Summary (not sure how the formatting will work out):
Date ▼ Type Distance Duration Pace
    6/10/2012 Long 7.1 mi 1:19:48 11:13
    6/7/2012 Easy 2.5 mi 29:00 11:36
    6/6/2012 Easy 3.0 mi 33:37 11:13
    6/5/2012 Easy 4.0 mi 42:57 10:43
    6/4/2012 Easy 3.0 mi 32:40 10:54

    Total Miles this Week: 19.6
    Monthly Total: 26.6
