pasted from news item in California newspaper:
"Is it safe for a pregnant woman to receive a thimerosal containing vaccine? '
'Thimerosal was removed from all pediatric vaccines in 2001 and since 2004 no pregnant woman in California has received a thimerosal containing vaccine, yet the rate of autism remains unchanged. The original studies that raised questions about the thimerosal-autism link have since been discredited and ten convincing studies have been published in leading medical journals indicating there is no link between vaccines and autism.
Why was the preservative removed if it is safe? Back when the initial concerns were raised, the studies disproving the association between thimerosal and autism had not been performed.
Pregnant women face significant risks if they develop H1N1 influenza. While the California Department of Public Health recommends providers prioritize thimerosal-free H1N1 vaccines for pregnant woman, there is simply not enough to go around. The only way for all pregnant women in California to receive the vaccine is to suspend AB 2943.
All pregnant women are urged to talk with their OB/GYN, certified nurse midwife, or certified midwife" about H1N1 vaccination.0 -
I won't be getting if for the simple reason that i just got over (well still getting over) the swine flu. Myself, my hubby and both my kids had it. Thankfully I am the one that got it the worst. A couple of breathing treatments and some antibotics and i think i'm in the clear.0

Thimerosal and the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine September 16, 2009
This brings us to the H1N1 vaccine. The H1N1 vaccine that will be released will come in three forms:
The single-dose inactivated (killed) injected vaccine (the one that is already in a single-use syringe) will NOT contain thimerosal.
The inactivated injected vaccine that comes in a multi-dose vial WILL contain thimerosal.
The live attenuated (weakened) vaccine that will be administered intranasally (inhaled) will NOT contain thimerosal.
There are pros and cons to each type of vaccine. Speak to your doctor about which one is right for you and your family members

Therefore, here's the scoop. Your Canadian Government under the power given to it by the Queen of England has approved the Arepanrix™ H1N1 "swine flu" vaccine for rollout across the country (you can read the Arepanrix™ product information leaflet by clicking here). This will be the largest mass vaccination and immunization program in Canadian history.

Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccines Descriptions and Ingredients - FDA
http://www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodVaccines/Vaccines/QuestionsaboutVaccines/ucm186102.htm
According to the FDA there are 4 kinds of vaccines that are being used.
3 INJECTIBLE VACCINES and 1 INTRANASAL VACCINE.
CSL Limited - Contains Thimerosal
Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics LImited - Contains Thimerosal
Sanofi Pasteur, Inc - Contrains Thimerosal
Nasal spray
MedImmune LLC. - Contrains the live H1N1 virus.
The single-dose formulation is preservative-free; thimerosal, a mercury derivative, is not used in the manufacturing process for this formulation. The multi-dose formulation contains thimerosal, added as a preservative; each 0.5 mL dose contains 24.5 mcg of mercury.
Why are there preservatives in some vaccines?
Preservatives are added to vaccine formulations filled into multi-dose vials to prevent the growth of bacteria or fungi that may be introduced into the vaccine during its use, e.g., repeated puncture of the vaccine vial.
Why is formaldehyde in some vaccines?
Formaldehyde has a long history of use in the manufacture of certain viral and bacterial vaccines. It is used to inactivate viruses (e.g., influenza, polio) and to detoxify bacterial toxins, such as the toxin used to make diphtheria vaccine. Formaldehyde is diluted during the manufacturing process, but residual quantities of formaldehyde may be found in some current vaccines.0 -
i work in a hospital and in a pharmacy, so i have to get it.
for people who say its too new:
the flu shot is new every year.0 -
I got the H1N1 nasal vaccine, which is the live virus version. I was worried about taking it but I am a Firefighter/EMT so I think I needed it. It's been a week since I got the vaccine and I still feel good, I hope it actually prevents me from getting H1N1.0

The vaccines are NOT aprpoved by the FDA.
Little testing has been done on the H1N1 vaccine, definately no long term testing.
Why would I want to put a live virus in my system, because the government said so. :noway:
http://www.naturalnews.com/026473_the_FDA_H1N1_natural_products.html
The message is crystal clear: No product may be described as protecting against or preventing H1N1 infections unless it is approved by the FDA. And which products has the FDA approved? Tamiflu (the anti-viral drug that most people will never have access to), and soon the new H1N1 vaccine that's being manufactured at a cost of one billion dollars (paid to Big Pharma by the taxpayers). This vaccine, of course, will be utterly useless because H1N1 will undoubtedly mutate between now and the time the vaccine is ready, rendering the vaccine useless.
In other words, according to the tyrants at the FDA, the only products that may be marketed alongside the term "H1N1" are those products that either don't work or aren't available to most people. Anything that really works to prevent influenza infections -- such as natural anti-virals, medicinal herbs, etc. -- is banned from even mentioning H1N1 without the threat of being criminally prosecuted.
http://swineflushot.wordpress.com/2009/10/22/h1n1-vaccine-with-mercury-and-squalene-pushed-on-pregnant-women/It’s getting crazy out there. New revelations about the novel H1N1 vaccine are raising more questions than ever about its safety while there’s a new drive to push shots of the stuff as quickly as possible on perfectly healthy pregnant women. That means the most vulnerable of all — unborn children — will be exposed to a little-tested vaccine. To top it off, now comes word out of the FDA’s Vaccine and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) meeting held on July 23rd that the H1N1 vaccine is going to be laced with the mercury containing preservative thimerosal. That’s right, the same thimerosal that was banned in influenza vaccines in California and several other states starting in 2004. The reason? The mercury-laden toxin has been linked to a number of health concerns — including worries thimerosal caused or contributed to the current autism epidemic.
