Sounds like fun - I'm in! I'm actually training for my first sprint Tri in August, followed by a "classic" distance Tri in September. i should still have time to get in at minimum a 1/2 Ironman this month but will shoot for a full.

    Totals from this weekend:
    Run (Saturday) - 4.5 mi
    Swim (Sunday) - 1 mi
    Bike (Sunday) - 19.3 mi

Today is, thankfully, a rest day.

The traditional challenge is to complete Ironman Triathlon mileage in the 30 days of June
    --Swimming 2.4 Miles
    --Biking 112 miles
    --Running 26.2 miles

I am a little behind what I had hoped due to going away but here's what I've got.
    Swimming - 1 mile
    Biking - 53.2
    Running/Walking - 24.55

Actually with looking at the numbers, I am doing pretty good. I may be able to get in 1.5 triathalons by the end of the month. Woo Hoo.
Reading the previous posts is so motivating. So many of you are doing phenomenal. Keep it up.

Wow all of you are doing great! So inspirational. I feel like it has been a super slow start for me, but Now back to a more normal schedule and I think I can still get it done. Here is where I stand so far:

    Run: 9 miles/ 26.2
    Bike: 0miles/ 112
    Swim: 0.3miles/ 2.4

Kinda late for me to join this ... however very motivating. I had knee surgery, so can no longer run, but am cycling and I need to do more pool work .... also thinking if I can figure out how to use my husbands GPS, my third leg could be paddling (kayak). So perhaps I will 'tri' a little differently. This month may need to be a 'sprint' for me!

    Goals
Firstly, converstion to metric (Canadian ... and most of the rest of the world, except when it comes to racing! LOL)
    1 mile = 1.609344km OR 1km = 0.621371192 miles

    Bike 100 Miles(since I already am in the 100 Mile Challenge) = 161 km
Swim - 2 miles = 3.2km or 3219 metres ( our pool is 25 metres - so this means 129 lengths, or there and back 64.5 times!
    Kayak - 20 miles = 32.2 km

    Totals
    Bike 5 + 21 + 8= 34km
    Swim 0
Kayak 90 mins - need to measure route

Let's see where we all go! Good luck!

Goal - Traditional Ironman distance. 2.4/112/26.2

Though the running is taking second fiddle to the fun of riding. Which means the swimming is third fiddle, and very soft right now.

    swim - 0
    bike - 90.72
    run - 4.80
