    what happened to North Carolina and South Carolina.......????? dang south Carolina.....more battles of the Civil War happened in NC and SC .......dang if that aint the south, you aint right...I lived my whole life in NC till I retired and moved to Florida.....

    Let me tell you something about Florida....there are WAY more people liiving here from the North....and I mean DAMN YANKEES..


    very few native floridians.... FLorida is full of yankees...

    I'm from Central Virginia, and I definitely consider myself Southern. If you cut out Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area, Virginia is very much a Southern state.

    Oh we have lots of southerners here in Hampton Roads lol

    I am from Jacksonville, Florida....but currently live in Columbus, Oh.....doesn't change the fact that I am a southern cook and LOVE to eat! I am working on it...one step at a time.

    NC is totally in the south too!

    I was born and raised in NC. I'm now living in TX and am completely southern. :)

    By south I mean TX, LA, AR, KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, and FL. Just curious if we have any southerners on here...
    I don't consider TX the south...it is part of the wild west. NC and SC should be part of the south as well as VA and W VA. Don't really consider FL the south....to many northern transplants. You don't base who is a southern state by which conference they are in...even if the SEC rules.

    NC and VA were Confederate states.
