I'm 5'5". I am big boned and have a large bust, so I'm not sure where to set my goal. I remember in high school gym class they told us that we should weigh 100 lbs for the first 5 feet, then 5 pounds for every inch taller. That would mean I should be 125. At the time that seemed both unreasonable and impossible and it still does. I'm shooting for 145 - 150 and when I get there I'll see what it looks like and adjust accordingly. I think that's probably about what I weighed as a teen ager, but I don't really remember. I just remember always feeling fat.0

Hi, all! I'm a smidge under 5'4", currently 191, and my current goal is 140. I'm guessing that would put me in a size 4 or 6, depending upon how much of that is muscle.
At my healthiest and most active, I weighed around 125, but that was when I was in my late teens. In my early 20s, I was very happy at around 130. I figure now that I'm in my mid-30s and post-baby, 140 is a sensible goal.
When I start to approach that goal, I'll see how much further down it makes sense to go. Who knows? I may get back to 125 and my size 4 frame some day! :bigsmile:0 -
Hi!
Almost 5'3" and have a small frame. My goal weight is 90 lbs., but I feel okay at 92. Currently 95.5 so I'm almost back to my Happy Weight! :happy:0 -
I am 5'5" and weighed 171 when I decided enough is enough....I started mfp one week ago and I have lost 3.5 lbs. My ultimate goal is 140. I have a medium sized frame.0

I'm 5'4" currently 126lbs, goal is 115lbs. I am small in frame structurally so I can get away with being between 105 and 110lbs but I am having a really hard time dropping any weight right now due to stress or too few calories...not sure what's going on.0

CW 192lbs
GW 160lbs
Have thyroid issues that has been a challenge for me over the last year. I was 180lbs for about 5 years then I went up to 205lbs over a period of a month.... GRRRRR. Hopefully, I can master my hormone issues to lose the extras and get back into the clothes in my closet!0 -

I'm 5'4 and my goal is 115. My whole family is thin, except me. I'm a "belly heavy" 135 now, and just want to get back to being toned, and fitting into a size 6. A good pre-baby weight for me0

I also think it depends on your age. I am 49, 5'3", and 160 would be comfortable for me.0
