ummmmm i usually use chocolate to get over my chocolate cravings, lol!
but those 100cal chocolate covered Thinsations packs are really f'n good. still have sugar, but whever, cant have everything, lol. and if i opened a bag of chocolate chips or anything else id be sitting till the bag was gone, or id close it up and walk back 10min late, open it and eat more, put it back *repeat. portion controll is not my thing. if i give myself a little bit, i end up taking alot. cant even bake in this house anymore.0 -

these are good, but extremely carb heavy!0 -
Endangered Species dark chocolate with cacao nibs!
If you treat yourself to some real, good chocolate sometimes, the cravings shouldn't be as bad.0 -
I am loving these responses. I am not a chocoholic by any means, but when that craving hits I usually eat a few squares of Dove Dark Chocolate. So yummy! I like the ones with Almond too!!! I also like these Dark Chocolate Cocoa-powder covered almonds. I think the brand is Emerald? They hit the spot too!0

I only like dark chocolate, so when I'm having a chocolate craving I...EAT CHOCOLATE!0

Dark chocolate covered cherries. So sweet you don't need a lot of them. I like a really good quality dark chocolate because the better the flavor, the less you crave. It hits the spot faster I guess. Ghiradelli's peppermint bark is a favorite too.0

Maybe a few chocolate chips? 30 pieces are usually 70 calories. That helps me when I crave chocolate. Or Luna bars, like the chocolate coconut one. It's so chocolatey that it makes me not want to have chocolate for the rest of the day! c:0

I understand about LOVING chocolate because I am right there with you, but my eating habits have got to be sustainable. I will never cut chocolate out of my diet, it just wouldn't work for me. If you know you can have a little bit of chocolate every day, maybe you won't feel the need to eat lots of it, just look forward to having more tomorrow. Works for me (most days!).
I eat a square of Trader Joe's 72% Swiss Chocolate. It is vegan and only 60 calories per square. Another great option is Wax Orchards Fat Free Fudge Sauce. Vegan, only 45 calories per tablespoon, and fruit sweetened. It is so intense, you don't need any more than that. Good luck!!0 -
If I want chocolate I'll just have a small handful of chocolate chips or a square of good dark chocolate.0

If I'm craving chocolate, I either go for a hershey kiss or two, or a chocolate silk soymilk, depending on the time of day. Both satisfy my craving nicely0

Dark chocolate covered cranberries and blueberries from Trader Joe's. Vitatops are delicious too, triple chocolate & mint chocolate are my fav0

1/2 ounce unsweetened Baker's chocolate, in a double boiler until melted. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil or butter and mix in.
Add in mint extract, hazelnut extract, or any other you prefer. Vanilla also works.
Then, add in stevia, splenda, honey, or whatever sweetener you like.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper. Pour this melted goodness onto it and (optional) add anything you'd like for texture. I like puffed rice cereal, peanuts, or potato chips. Freeze for 5-8 minutes. Pull from freezer and break apart into little pieces. Enjoy the whole dang thing!
That's what I do :blushing:0 -

Buy yourself some OH YEAH protein bars, the small ones, half the size of the full bar. Close your eyes and you'll swear that you're eating a chocolate candy bar. Available at GNC.
Tom
P.S. They DO NOT have the artificial taste of other protein bars.0 -
I get a 3 musketeer once and a while for chocolate cravings and log it in. I don't wanna deprive my body of what it wants once and a while.0

I like to have chocolate with a hot drink. Take a small bite of the chocolate, a sip of the drink. Melts it all in my mouth and fills me up quicker than eating plain chocolate. I'm low carbing ATM so occasionally have super dark chocolate or an atkiens bar0

Portion controll! Eat your chocolate everyday if you must but limit yourself. A Dr. told me in order to be successful you must choose a diet lifestyle change that will work for you and do NOT deprieve yourself of junk. 10 - 15% of your daily calorie intake should be on junk lol...I love my new diet and I've actually been loosing...I was stuck for about 2 months.
I like brownies and I bought the fiber one 90 cal brownie... Once a week I have brownie and Ice cream YUMMM!
Good Luck!0 -
Throw some unsweetened dark cocoa powder in your oatmeal. Bam instant chocolate flavour for an insignificant amount of calories. That or chocolate flavoured Arctic Zero. They also have a mint chocolate cookie flavour.0
