    I'm a high school visual/media arts teacher. I started out with English, but art is my passion. It took almost 8 years to get where I am today. We are wrapping up the year this week (last day of exams today) and I am already psyched about next year. Although I am definitely going to enjoy the summer with my daughter. Lots of long walks, parks and pools are in our future.

    I currently teach 6th grade Language Arts and Reading. I've taught Language Arts for a total of 6 years and taught Special Education (in different capacities) for 5 years prior to that. I've just completed 11 years as a middle school teacher, and I've found it to be extremely rewarding. : )

    I'm nationally board certified for K-12 Social Science education. Also PA certified for secondary education in English and Social Science.

    However I now work in an office because they offered to triple my salary...

    I teach Middle School Intensive reading, Language Arts, sponsor the school yearbook AND help my husband run a Boy Scout Troop of about 25 kids.

    I have been teaching for about 15 years and have a Master's in Reading Education.

    High school English. I just graduated in May 2012. School starts in July (my first teaching job EVER). :huh: :ohwell: In August, I will begin my schooling for my MED. Here goes nothing!

    Early Learning Program (4 and 5 year olds). Been teaching for over 20 years including grades 3 and 4, ESL and Spec ED.

    I teach 4 th grade. I LOVE my job! I have been teaching for 18 years: preschool, middle &high school sped, 2nd &4th. 4th is my favorite!

    I start back to school in a month. Finishing up my required courses for early childhood education. Then I will start my bachelors in Exercise Science. My goal is to teach children the benefits of exercise on their health!

    I'm a special education teacher. Having lost 34 lbs. so far, i try to instill in my students good, healthy exercise and eating habits.

    I'm currently minoring in education studies! There's no education major at my school because we have an awesome grad school for it. Hopefully I'll be able to get into the master's program sometime after I finish with undergrad.

    But yeah, I wanna become a middle school math teacher. :)

    I'm a principal. I was a teacher for 9 years before going into administration. I still love and miss the classroom!
