snagging - I just treated myself to a new hand blender after mine died last week. It's a powerful one capable of crushing ice so I'm in need of protein shake/smoothie recipes to test it out on :)

The peanut butter one is great. I don't use the chunky peanut butter, I use either low fat peanut butter or PB2. It tastes just like a Butterfinger candy bar.

If you are wanting to increase veggies in your day, Bolthouse Farms 100% Carrot Juice is very good in a shake along with some raw kale or spinach and some sort of fruit mixed in with the protein powder and liquid of your choice. Also, crushed ice makes it extra wonderful :)

    1/2 cup light soy milk
    Crushed ice

    So yummyyyy
Sometimes I add 1/3 of a banana too

    Pina Colada Protein Shake

    1 scoop vanilla protein
    1/2 cup pineapple in juice
1 cup coconut milk (not the canned kind--too high in calories/sugar)
    5-6 ice cubes--blend, enjoy

*you can add unsweetened shredded coconut if you have it.

    Yum!

    my very favorite:

    1 c. fresh baby spinach
1/2 avocado (diced and frozen works great)
    1 c. frozen blueberries
    1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla or strawberry protein powder
1 TBSP virgin organic coconut oil
water-amount varies depending on how thick/thin you like it

The avocado adds healthy fats and it makes it so incredibly creamy and smooth! The coconut oil adds healthy fat too... and I'm not afraid of calories or fat... so I go for it. :) Not a low cal shake.
