Great month everyone! I exceeded my goal of 7,500 steps all days except two and really proved to myself that I CAN do the 10,000. That competitive spirit kicked in after the first few days of the month. :laugh: I am upping my goal to the 10,000 with a total of 350,000 for the month for July. I KNOW I can do it!0 -

:bigsmile: Nobody starts out walking over 10,000 steps a day....it is a gradual process that requires commitment :bigsmile: It also requires some balanced thinking....when I got too committed to increasing my steps I began to resent yoga, weight training, talking to my hubby, and anything else that didn't include walking...even my beloved line dancing was a problem because step counters don't recognize lateral steps and many other moves that are part of dancing so a line dance class would result in about a third as many steps as walking for the same amount of time.:sad:
