Petite group?

Im living with my parents until my husband gets back home to save money. I've tried getting them to eat what I eat but they are stuck in their ways. My dads ok with most of the healthy switches I make and lighter dishes but my mom always finds something to complain about. She eats fast food for lunch and usually dinner if she has school late everyday... and always skips breakfast.. She'll get her wake up call someday as sad as that is but she wont go to the dr and get a basic blood panel to check her cholesterol and what not. I just have to try and stick with eating healthier despite them0

So, I was thinking today could be our first official start of the week. Since we don't have any winners yet, does anyone have any suggestions of what our first challenge should be?
I also just wanted to let you ladies know that I am very excited to be apart of this group. I have other groups that I also of course love, but I'm not quite sure they know what it's like to be this short with our weight. Me at 130 is still way over weight, compared to most people in other groups who look way to thin at 130!
Anyways, I am looking forward to ideas for our first week challenge as the Fit & Fun Sized!

Starting Weight: 174.4
Current Weight: 132.4
1st Goal Weight: 115 (not sure how that will look, never been that little!)0 -
I am excited, too! With this being Thanksgiving week, maybe our challenge could be related to that.

Starting Weight (MFP Start-October): 135.2
Current Weight: 130.0
Goal Weight: 1100 -

Haha...not all muscle...I have a deceptively lean upper body. I just don't like to say I look bad because there are a lot of other people with my same dimensions, so I don't want them to think I find them unfit!0 -
I just added Sodium back into my Food Diary settings and no wonder my weight fluctuates so much. I knew that I was a saltaholic, but I am generally way over not including the salt that I add!0

hey yall i had a super busy weekend so i havent been on, but ive been seeing sunday morning for weigh ins and that sounds great to me!That way we have a new challenge to start each beginning of the week with! So lets have a great week this week! I know we have thanksgiving this week so its gonna be tough, i know everyone will be busy but how about the challenge to be to get in at least a 30 minute workout thanksgiving day! Sound good?Im going to go to body attack that morning and try to get some calories burned cuz i know im gonna grub!0

Yes! I already had planned on that. I'm finishing Week 8 of my Gateway to 8K program Tuesday, so Week 9 will begin Thursday! It will be a 50 minute run.0 -

Sounds good to me! I think it will help keep us on track over Thanksgiving. And if we end up gaining a little, the water weight we lose next week will look impressive LOL0

I weighed 132.6 this morning so I only lost 0.8 lbs this week.0

That sounds like a good challenge....especially cause if it was only up to me i would NOT be working out on that day. I had a horrible weekend (food wise) so I gotta work my *kitten* off (literally) this week so i dont GAIN weight next weigh in. So how do u guys keep yourself motivated to eat good during the weekend? cause i can't seem to do it.....0

So how do u guys keep yourself motivated to eat good during the weekend? cause i can't seem to do it.....
I generally plan my day out in the morning and start with a healthy breakfast that gets me in the right mindset for a healthy weekend. I still am a little more relaxed over the weekend, but I just work out a LOT more to make up for it. Since I have more time, I can have longer, more intense workouts. Yesterday I worked out twice for a total of 2 hrs and the day before I got my run done even though it was really late, like 8:30 at night. I also consistently remind myself of my goals and how badly I want to reach them!!0 -

Thanks songbyrd. Right now I work out Monday-Friday. If i worked out on the weekends it would defiantly help keep me motivated to eat better. Do you work out every day?0

Hey everyone I didn't see the weigh-in on sunday mornings thing until just now and its already noon here so I'll weigh in tomorrow and then next week weigh in on Sunday
I have been good sunday and so far today too! I wanted to go on a run this morning but for some reason my knee started acting up last night and i could barely put weight on it this morning. I dropped my son off at daycare, ran some errands and its feeling better, I guess since its loosened up. But my son has a dr's appt this afternoon so I won't be able to get in a run then either. I'm hoping I can get to the gym tonight if my parents will watch him.
well I've got some studying to do and a presentation to put together, have a great monday everyone!!!0 -

Thanks songbyrd. Right now I work out Monday-Friday. If i worked out on the weekends it would defiantly help keep me motivated to eat better. Do you work out every day?
I work out 6 days a week. 3 running only, and 3 lifting with some cardio. So I lift MWF and run TTrSat. Most weeks I will have something get in the way of my schedule and I'll have to take a random day off but I'll get back into it the next day and just keep going.0 -

The extra weight is from the water and food you take in during the day.0 -
