Hey guys use baking powder instead of baking soda... I did and mine turned out great!!! Also instead of flour you could use oats + protein powder!
Using baking powder instead of baking soda cuts back on the sodium.. had no idea baking soda had that much sodium lol

Unfortunately I don't have baking soda but a few people have posted that they've used baking powder and that they've worked out fine, so I'll try them with that.0 -

I've had these at least four times the past two weeks.
Today I tried them without baking powder to see if they would work. They were fine, just not as fluffy. I was fine with that! So I got the sodium down to mid 100 mg
Word of caution: I don't recommend baking them with sliced strawberries. The water from the strawberries makes it so the batter doesn't fully cook. They were kinda batter-y.0
