Here it is: the last one in my collection. . I bet it's a Cannondale. . . (remember right click and open in a new tab/window to see the whole thing!)

    20kbsix.jpg

    Yup: sure is.

This was one of my "grail" bikes. The ultra stiffness of the 2.8 series frames was very appealing to me. I finally got one last July. . . built it up with Rival. . because I'm CRAZY!

My current road rig, a rediscovered love. A total mishmash of components but nothing rides like Italian Steel.

You're probably right. I kinda always wanted a Tommasini-- the most Italian I could afford. But now I'm looking out for a Bridgestone RB-1 or RB-2.

Or a Davidson. Like THAT's going to ever happen. Oh, and of course. . a CAAD8. Can't quite afford a -9 or -10 let alone a SuperSix.

The other beastie, also steel. It's a track bike, yes, fixed gear, no, not something you would want to ride on the road, at least not in a racing position.
