I'm 6'0, I've only been at this for a little over 3 months. That said, I've lost close to 16 pounds...though I still have a long way to go.0

5'11, 212 down to 188 as of today ... aiming for 165-170!0 -
I'm 5' 9" (or 5' 10" when I meet a 5' 9" man
). I started on this journey at 198 in January and just went to 169. All my small clothes now fit. I'm not losing as fast but I am still losing inches. I wish I had taken pictures and measurements, but I'm clearly getting fit and strong. I think I put my goal weight as 150, but really my goal is to get rid of the extra flab and build more strength. When that happens, I'll switch to maintenance.

I am 5'-8" tall and started in January 2012 at 225lbs. I am now at 180.2. The lowest I have ever weighed (that I can remember) is 179 so I am about to enter uncharted territory. I am thinking that I want to get to 160lbs but as I get closer, I am starting to realize that 150-155 may be more in line with where I need to get to. Hey - 1 lb at a time right? I have a doctor's appointment in a few weeks so I am hoping to get him to give me better direction on goal weight.
Anyone else having difficulty figuring out what their goal should be?0 -

I'm 5'9 started at 293; currently 271; 1st goal 195 then re-evaluate.
Highest weight ever was probably 315 (but in denial)
My 1st goal is the weight I was at 1/18 and thought I was huge, but probably wasn't!0 -

Hey - Im 5"11 started at 246 (started at that on MFP but had lost approx 15lb before that) now at 210 and UK size 16. So a total loss of about 50lb so far. Aiming for 195 and size 14. x0

I'm still a work in progress, but consider myself successful thus far. I am 5'11" and started out at 332 pounds. I am currently 231 and looking to get down to 175.0

wow, congrats steph1278 on so much lost! I'm 5'11" and started at ~215. My goal is 160ish, I want to get back to my weight during college because that's when I remember feeling great about myself and having so much energy!0

I am 5'11 1/2. I started in November @ 301, and I'm currently at 207. I'll not say I've 'made it yet' cause I have a long way to go; at least 30 more lbs..but it's slowly getting better0

I'm 5'10" and started out at 249. Still have a ways to go. If I can do it, you can too.
One thing that helped me was to make little goals along the way.
Ex: When I was 249 my first goal was 225, than under 200, now its to get to my healthy BMI of 174, and hopefully down to the 150s.0 -
I'm 5'9 and (re)starting out at 242. This is my second time starting MFP. I was down to 200 in September and then gained 60lbs (yuck!) while I was pregnant. Right now I am down to 235 and my ultimate goal is 160. Here are some pictures....in the first one was when I was at my heaviest, about 270 and the other is right around 200lbs. In the last picture I was 38 weeks along and 260. I'm super pumped about losing the baby weight and fiiiiiinally getting down to my goal weight!0

I'm 5'10 (and a half!!). Started at 213lbs. Spent a year on MFP getting down to 173lbs. I have maintained this weight for a little over year, and am now getting back on track to lose a final 10-15lbs. Good luck! This site is a huge help!0
