    You are not supposed yo use Steel Cut oats... Only the Old fashined Oats... I do not think the steel cut will absorb like it is supposed to.
    I made some yesterday with steel cut oats and it is NOT done this morning. How long does it typically take for steel cut oats?

    For the person asking what BUMP means, it basically can mean a couple things, typically on here, it adds the thread to "my topics" so the person can come back later and find it easily. Or it just means bumping the thread back to the front or top of of the page.

    Thanks. I am pretty sure I saw on here where someone said you could use steel cut oats. I guess I will stick with batch cooking them because all we eat are steel cut oats.
