Awesome motivation. I used to run 5 miles a day with not very good shoes so my knees did not like it. I now do P90X and ride my stationary bike but would love to get a treadmill and start running again.0

Cut fat, long slow cardio, and as silly as it sounds... I walk around with my abs crunched all the time. Not sucking in, but activating the muscles. I don't know if this does anything, but I don't see why it wouldn't help a little
I don't do a tonne of crunches or ab work... I run and box and watch my calories.

how long did it take for your amazing transformation?
It has been very gradual over the last year and a half. I saw no results for almost 4 or 5 months. Then I noticed my thighs didn't rub as much, my waist tightened up. I started training in feb 2011 and by June I had only lost five pounds. From June to December I lost another 5, but also 5 dress sizes.
I've lost another 6 lbs since I started watching and logging mybcalories on mfp.
I am currently 6'1". 165lbs and a size 5/6.
