I just signed up for MFP and want in on this challenge.
CW 177
GW 150 (For Starters)
I exercise around 5 times a week. It is the food that is killing me!
I hope this is a great start in using this tool!0 -
Welcome to MFP! This site is fantastic for keeping track of how much you consume. I quickly learned vegetables are the way to go to be allowed to eat more with less calories. Hope it helps you out! When I'm committed to tracking everything, it definitely helps me out.0
-
Thanks! I keep wondering if I can stay under my calorie allotment and stay motivated and exercising.0
-
I joined MFP a month ago and this is my first post. In the first couple weeks I quickly lost 5 lbs.......then I slacked on the eating a little bit. So far I'm at a total loss of 6 lbs with another 40 or so to go.
I'll give this challenge a shot.

Good luck to us! )0 -
I definitely want in on this challenge
July 23- 183 lbs
Goal weight 147
I exercise on average 3times a week, but I recently hired a personal trainer so I'm hoping to reach my goal soon. My biggest problem is laying down after eating and not eating right. I hope to gain some discipline.0 -
Good luck to all of us!!0

This is great - count me in!
Last Friday's weigh-in was 295.3 pounds
4 week challenge goal: 289.3 pounds
Long term goal: 165 pounds
I work out on an elliptical for 30 minutes x 6 days a week, and monitor what I eat using MFP.
Good luck everyone!0 -
I want in!
July 23 = 91.7 kg (202 lbs)
I have lots to lose.0 -
I wouldn't mind joining your challenge. Have been on MFP for 2 weeks and so far my weight just yoyo's up and down each day. I exercise 5 days a week and am really trying to watch what I eat. Now I have to type in everything, it makes a big difference. Thanks.0

I don't know if you guys eat yoghurt, but I just wanted to share that you can have a lot of Danone Silhouette yoghurt 0% for like next to no calories, and as an added plus, the different flavours all taste amazing!0

I want in! I need something to kick-start my motivation. I'm trying to familiarize myself with MFP, do you guys eat back all calories you exercise?

1st post....right here0 -
I usually do not "eat back calories". The only time I do is if it is a special occasion and we are going out to dinner or something. Otherwise I just snack on veggies if I get hungry at night. Cucumbers with lemon pepper... mmm0

Sounds fun and motivating, count me in please.0

I would love in on this challenge! I need something to keep me motivated. I just got married a month ago and now I am struggling to find inspiration to keep losing towards my goal!

GW for this challenge.... 190!0 -
I'd like to join also. I would be happy to be at 152 in four weeks, but 150 would be my reach goal. This would put me into the "healthy weight" category on the BMI charts! Somewhere I haven't been for a long time.

Yes, the check-in's are done via the message boards. So there's a check in each week, but the ultimate goal is to lose 6 lbs by the end of the 4 week period. Good luck!!0

I want in too! I am starting 2 days late but I like the idea of being accountable to a group.
My starting (this morning) is 141.
My overall goal weight is 120.
I also need movitation and support with getting up and working out in the morning, becuase that is the only time I will be able to do it. This morning I put my alarm out of my bedroom with my workout clothes right next to it, and it worked, and I got a 2 mile run in!0 -

Hey Guys!!
Excellent work for everyone joining in so far!!! It's hard work for sure, but try to just think of each day one a a time. Be good this ONE day and then think of tomorrow separately in the same way. I find this makes it a bit better, because I don't feel like I have weeks and months stretching out ahead of me.
Also, I found this fabulous website talking about how to exercise and eat based on what really works for weight loss - proper nutrition in moderation and regular, varied exercise. I particularly like the way the information is presented because it's easy to read and outlines some simple steps. I read it and thought: "Yeah, I can totally follow these easy steps!"

Hi Count me in. At the moment it is so hot, far to hot to exercise but that is just an excuse.... I need a challenge. I really need to lose the weight I have put on over the years. I lost some at a boot camp last year and then put it back on ( and more) plus lost all the fitness. I can remember how good I felt whern lighter and fitter and need to hold onto that.
I usually weigh in kg ( I think it is part of my avoidance of reality 70.7 is over 11stone ( how did I get from 9 stone to well over 11 )
4 weeks I can do it
26th July 155 lbs0 -
I'm in too! Please friend me if you want! I having used MFP for about 6 months and I could use some friends.
