Watching Neil Armstrong's "small step" with the whole family gathered around the one tv in the house
That was magic. I watched Neil's giant step at a camp ground in Ontario outdoors on TVs set up in an outdoor theatre for the purpose. I watched the TV and looked up to see the moon, expecting to be able to see the lander.
I was at girl scout camp, they woke us up and dragged us down to the mess hall to watch it on a 24" TV...300 of us, I was in the back...it was all pretty fuzzy!0 -
I remember teasing my mom about turning 45yo. Now that I'm turning 45, I'm thinking, hey, that's not so old. LOL
Remember when there was no ATMs?? How did we live without money on demand 24/7??
And on almost any given Saturday morning my brother and I used to watch the same cartoons over and over again (mostly because there wasn't much choice). When Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice, CHiPs or Knight Rider came out, my brother took over the tv. Miami Vice was good but Dukes of Hazzard was ridiculous... unless you are boy, I guess. hehe0 -
