Can the chocolate whey powder be substituted for something else, like cocoa powder? I'm severely allergic to milk, so I wouldn't be able to use it, but I want to try this recipe.0

What kind of oatmeal are you all using....I need exact directions on this. I saw some say rolled and some say steel and some say quick ???? I am really anxious to try this!0

I love refrigerator oatmeal! My favorite is to mix in the Chocolate PB2 and I use a bit of almond milk, plain greek yogurt, oats, and stevia to sweeten a bit. It's fantastic.0

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet (there are a lot of posts!), but Kath from Kath Eats Real Food (katheats.com) LOVES overnight oats and is always posting recipes. She has a special "tribute to oatmeal" section on her blog too...so funny
Check it out though, I bet you can find at least 10 recipes you like0 -

Ok - so you have tons of responses and I can't go through them all to see if anyone mentioned it, but get yourself some PB2. It's powdered peanut butter (unless you have a peanut allergy of course). PB2 has 85% less calories and fat than peanut butter because they remove the oil. It's just peanuts. Anyways- add some of that and bananas. Or strawberries for a PB&J sandwich taste. Endless combinations. They also make it in a chocolate peanut butter flavor. 2 TBSP is only 45 calories and packs a TON of flavor, so it's a nice addition without the bulk.
I also have been enjoying them with the vanilla almond milk for an extra kick.0 -
Ok so here's the one I made last night (second time making overnight oats, and loved my first recipe!):
1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup of quick oats
1 scoop of vanilla whey isolate
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 Truvia packet
1 cup of fresh blueberries
a couple of shakes of ground cinnamon
Came out to 476 cals and 49 grams of protein. Absolutely amazing and filling for my first meal of the day! I ate it around 9am and didn't eat again until 2:30. Yum!0 -
