Do you keep counting calories over the weekend?

I log everything i eat everyday, even if i do go over on the weekends. The mobile app comes in handy.0

I log. Over the past 4 weeks there have been days here and there where I have binged, and eaten 1000s of cals over my allotment. I STILL log it. It is not an excuse. Eat what you want, but always log. My slip ups tend to be on weekends (because I am not as preoccupied with work and staying busy) and so when I am wondering why I haven't lost weight, well... my log tells me why.
Another thing, is that it keeps you accountable. If you eat poorly and don't log it, you won't feel the need to change like you do when you sit back and see all that you've eaten.
I am going to the movies tonight and fully intend on eating a bucket of popcorn -- yep, a bucket. I have been waiting so long too because it is my guilty pleasure. Is it the best choice to do? No, not really. Do I need an entire bucket instead of a small or medium? Nope, definitely not. Is it healthy -- NOOOOO. But I want it, so I am going to have it and deal with the consequences of it (working out harder this weekend and making sure I stay strictly in my calories this weekend, and making the rest of my day light). Maybe some people will look at my diary and think I'm a pig for it. That's fine, that is their opinion. But I log it anyway. It helps me to see how I need to balance out the rest of my day and rest of my week.
You can have what you want, you just have to be conscious of what you're eating and how the bad stuff fits in with everything else. That is why logging helps.0 -
everyday, everything. No winging or free days here. Can't put things on hold just because it is the weekend or a special occasion. I'm here to get healthy and that means I NEED to hold myself accountable everyday. That's not saying I don't enjoy the occasional food item that is not within my normal diet, I just enjoy within moderation.0

I do! Athough you have your daily goal if you don't hit your weekly because you WAYYY over do it Saturday & Sunday then you wont hit any of your goals! I usually take Sudnay off from the diet BUT I log it all.0

If I didn't log everything on every day I wouldn't have a total picture.0
-
If I eat it, I log it.0

I log everything I eat even being brutally honest. I have to just because someone didn't see me eat it doesn't make the calories disappear.0

I believe it depends on how serious you are about weight management. To log in everything you eat honestly will just put the odds in your favor. Life goes on 7 days a week and I want to live each day the best I can. I believe you should enjoy everything you do. Decide what kind of person that you want to be and be it 7 days a week.

I try to log after each meal to make sure I don't go over. I haven't been doing it long enough to trust myself.0

I am a little loose with my calories on the weekend but I still log most of them to keep me focused. I weigh in on Mondays so over the weekend I try to keep that in mind when I'm eating.0

I count calories on the weekend, occasionally I will add my total for a meal and use the quick calories option if I'm on the road and can't sit there and take the time to look up every little thing to add. But I definitely count the calories on the weekend, weekends are the hardest eating wise for me.0

I don't eat on the weekends.0

Yes. Every day. Even when I go way over. I refuse to be lazy about it. That's what got me here in the first place. I stop logging and next thing I know, I'm eating 6000 cals a day and pretending that I'm not gaining weight.0
-
I have logged everything I've eaten, or at least done a quick add calories, every day since I started logging. Weekend, weekday, doesn't matter. Not logging it doesn't mean I didn't eat it. That's just me though. I'm pretty much an "all or nothing" kinda girl0
-
I try to but honestly on the weekends is when my job is at its most demanding with 13+ hour days. I logged this past weekend but not the weekend before. My goal is to log everything all the time no matter what. It's a work in progress. I'm great about logging during the week and I'm not going crazy on the weekend with junkfood, I'm still eating good but I need to be logging it regardless.0
-
Every Day Even if I go over my calorie goal, I'll still track it.0
-
The weekends are the most important to log since I don't exercise. I log before I eat so I know if I *can* eat it.0
-
i try to log everyday///so i keep my calorie intake in check0
-
DEFINITELY! If it goes down my gullet, it goes in the log.0
-
of course. i'm still fat and need to lose weight saturdays and sundays.0
-
Not usually. Too hard with 2 kids. I always log during the week. But I don't go nuts over the weekend either.0
-
I log everyday. No ifs, ands, or buts!0
-
Yes, I log everything even something that has zero calories (like the coke zero I needed today to stay ahead of my game at work) Sometimes the weekends are even easier cause I can plan things ahead of time even more, like what's happening on Saturday if I'm going to dinner with my boyfriend ect.0
-
Last time I decided to wing it I woke up in a Mexican prison during Spring Break..apparently I'm a mean drunk :happy:0
-
I sure do!! and if I splurge, I splurge. The only things I almost never do is A) log water intake (I drink more than a gallon a day) and complete my entries (just too lazy I guess, lol)0
-
I log everything everyday0
-
Yeah..What, Hummmm, WHAT? THAT's when you better take notice. The weekend can do more damage than the whole week! When I got My weekends under control is when I got Myself under control, including eating. Why "Live" for the weekend, there's MAGIC in everyday!0
-
YES
When i go into maintenance i may "diet" during the week and just relax on weekends, we'll see how it goes....0 -
7 days. Don't do the "cheat day", "free day" thing. If I go a litle over on a meal/day which is rare, I still log it and let the elliptical punish me for it0
