Maintaining Weight as a Lifestyle change
So, this is my third time at this stage. I am not working out regularly. I am more of a casual walker who participates in 3Ks to support causes. I lost 55 pounds and am in the 150s. My biggest weakness is sugar. I have been introduced to the Keto chocolate (Lily's chocolate) which has made a difference. One other practice…

Rediscovering myself
I am turning 68 this month and am a widow of 3 years. I look in the mirrior and think who are you? Well it's time I found out who I am now and it isn't 50 lbs overweight and being inside this box I've put myself into. So my journey has begun and I pray it's going to be an awesome one!

Hello!
Just popping in to say hello and introduce myself! I'm Deb, live in the Fernandina Beach area of Florida, and am hoping that MyFitnessPal will help me heal quicker (recent surgery) by helping make sure I'm getting enough protein and water. I find that being accountable (even to an app) helps me stick with things. Hope to…

Getting into weight lifting. My SW was around 170 in 2016. My GW is 140. I'd like to lose 2lb a week for the first 5 months back on my…

No to Ozempic - No to Diabetes - Motivated, ready to fight
Hello! I signed up today and have a rather long story (don’t we all?) “You have diabetes!” my doctor told me last Tuesday and it shocked me. I knew it was coming. Last year in April I was already prediabetic. And what did I do? Nothing! I continued living in denial land. I had it coming. I am heavily overweight (348 lbs…

Hey there all!
Hi, I have tried this about a decade before and this time I have a strength and nutrition coach from the Evolve gym to help me. Their program is 12 weeks long and has some harsh penalties built in to keep me going. My health is my #1 concern and my weight is a revolving door, so I need help right now for success at this…

Back in the Saddle Again
I logged into MFP today for the first time in over 2 years. I was happy to see that I am 10 lbs lighter than I was 2 years ago! It seems that I get stuck an awfully long time at the same weight, and then it’s as likely as not to go up instead of down. But I keep trying to make healthy lifestyle choices and in spite of the…

Not New… but returning ♥️
Well it’s been more than a hot minute since I tracked every morsel that went in to my mouth… and at my fittest and healthiest when I last embarked on a weight loss journey I was 5stone lighter than I am currently. 200+ pounds down, ??? to go!
Hello everyone! I’m Jen. I’m 35 years old, 5’10”, 195 pounds. I have a 14-month-old daughter and I work remotely. This isn’t my first time here. In fact, MFP was absolutely pivotal in getting myself out of what felt like a hopeless situation when I was much heavier. I found so much support from this community and it helped…

Once lost 15 kg, now I'm back for more

Giving this app a go
My name is Brian and I’m from Colorado. I’m giving this app a go. I’ve been on my journey for a few years now, and made great gains. I’m always looking for new ideas, and changing things up to increase gains. I’d be more than happy to talk about my personal journey and successes, along with failures along the way. Always…

How do you folks not just ‘eat along’ w your significant other/family?
Hi! Recently rapidly gaining weight and what my doctor and I are pinpointing is that I tend to keep pace w whoever I’m around (around bf who is 6’4 and active, I’m 5’4 my job isn’t). I’m trying to make better choices but it’s tough and time consuming. My fall back is eating whatever and whenever he eats. How to work on…
