Good Morning Myfitnesspal Family, My name is Antoine Mason and it’s been a while since I have even thought about exercising or eating right. I realize now it’s important to put the right things in your body to live a healthier lifestyle. My biggest reason for starting back in this journey is for myself and my 3 kids and…

How to calculate my activity levels?
So my daily job requires me to be sitting so I’m sedentary most of the time. My daily steps average between 5-7k steps. I train heavy fullbody 3x a week about an hour up to hour and a half. One exercise per body part 2-3 sets rest 2 min between sets in total I get 21-27 sets per session. I don’t know if I should put myself…

Hello
Hoping MFP can help me make some lifetime lifestyle changes - to be more active, which I’ve restarted recently, and more healthy eating. Hoping to connect with others that are in a similar place. I eat healthy foods most of the time, but tend to overeat, and I’m always wanting something sweet at night. Is that a habit I…

Hello all
I am here to try building a sustainable healthy lifestyle. I do good, I do bad, I get better and fall off again. My weight is up and down and I have terrible eating habits except for when I don't. Maybe by logging in daily I will get that constant reminder that I am not the only one and change is possible.

Maintaining Weight as a Lifestyle change
So, this is my third time at this stage. I am not working out regularly. I am more of a casual walker who participates in 3Ks to support causes. I lost 55 pounds and am in the 150s. My biggest weakness is sugar. I have been introduced to the Keto chocolate (Lily's chocolate) which has made a difference. One other practice…

Rediscovering myself
I am turning 68 this month and am a widow of 3 years. I look in the mirrior and think who are you? Well it's time I found out who I am now and it isn't 50 lbs overweight and being inside this box I've put myself into. So my journey has begun and I pray it's going to be an awesome one!

Hello!
Just popping in to say hello and introduce myself! I'm Deb, live in the Fernandina Beach area of Florida, and am hoping that MyFitnessPal will help me heal quicker (recent surgery) by helping make sure I'm getting enough protein and water. I find that being accountable (even to an app) helps me stick with things. Hope to…

No to Ozempic - No to Diabetes - Motivated, ready to fight
Hello! I signed up today and have a rather long story (don’t we all?) “You have diabetes!” my doctor told me last Tuesday and it shocked me. I knew it was coming. Last year in April I was already prediabetic. And what did I do? Nothing! I continued living in denial land. I had it coming. I am heavily overweight (348 lbs…

Hey there all!
Hi, I have tried this about a decade before and this time I have a strength and nutrition coach from the Evolve gym to help me. Their program is 12 weeks long and has some harsh penalties built in to keep me going. My health is my #1 concern and my weight is a revolving door, so I need help right now for success at this…

Back in the Saddle Again
I logged into MFP today for the first time in over 2 years. I was happy to see that I am 10 lbs lighter than I was 2 years ago! It seems that I get stuck an awfully long time at the same weight, and then it’s as likely as not to go up instead of down. But I keep trying to make healthy lifestyle choices and in spite of the…
