Excited for Measured Successes
I am excited to be able to move forward in my health by keeping account of my intake and having a reason for limiting bad consumption. Mostly, knowing the nutritional benefits alongside the physical exercises to boost my results, really keeps me motivated! Looking forward to the push and the results!

Smoothie (Chew or Swallow)
I’ve taken to making “smoothies” (chunkies?) rather than juicing. I make my smoothies chunky rather than completely liquified. Does anyone else prefer a chunkier smoothie? I like the fiber content and the fact that I’m consuming whole food nutrition. I have also read research that chewing helps with digestion and fuels a…

Add salt as an option in nutrition info or salt to sodium converter
Hi all. I saw an old post discussing adding salt to the nutrition info, from a few years ago. It wasn't in the feature forum, and I couldn't find another recent post discussing the matter. In the UK, most things are labelled with salt content, not sodium. I've found that this leads to a lot of incorrect entries for food,…

Addicted to sugar
Hi! I'm looking for some advice on how to deal with always craving sugar. I kept gaining weight whithout understanding why. First my nutritionist told me that it's because of the sweets (mostly different kinds of chocolate, including vegan bars and fitness bars), but I didn't realize it until I started counting calories.…

THANK YOU to everyone who includes all of the nutritional info on labels
I appreciate everyone who includes sodium, potassium, and all other nutrients listed on nutrition labels when you put something into the data base. I have multiple chronic medical issues that require me to know more than I want to about the food I eat, and the ones with all of the info, done accurately, is very helpful.…

Salt
I have to severely limit my salt intake. Everything has so much salt in it these days! I'm limited to 2000mg salt per day. Is there any good low salt bread?

Educational Details about Nutrients
In the nutrient section where there is the whole list of nutrients and how much you had of your allowance, add a section (could toggle visibility) that educates about the nutrient. For example, I click on monounsaturated fats. Explanation could be "Monounsaturated fats are found in plant foods, such as nuts, avocados, and…

Moved here from Noom
Hello I just recently left Noom. Was part of it since 2019. But jumped ship. Landed here and I have to say that this App has a lot more to offer. I’m not here to complain about Noom. It just was not working for me anymore. So looking at this App I see so much more that I can glean off beside valor count fat/sugar/protein…

Hi there!!!
Hi! I'm new to this neighborhood. I began my fitness adventure by going from being completely sedentary to starting 75 HARD (to find out what that is, do a Google search). It's insane! during April. I just continued going after finishing 75 HARD. I'm currently on day 153 of my daily fitness regimen. Though I'm still…

Finding faith!
It is so hard, some days to believe that I can go beyond what I have been able to do before. But the idea of doing just that, brings tears to my eyes, knowing if i can do this for myself, I can do more hard things in life with confidence. Today was a low day. Then I just kept at myself, that I could do it, and found faith.…

"Negative" Nutrients OPTION
It would be so helpful if we could enter "negative" entries. AS IN... a restaurant's "salad" is in the database but includes dressing. You do not eat the dressing. You know the nutrition of the dressing but you cannot back the dressing out of the entry without manually "re-entering" (creating) the adjusted salad as a whole…

Reading MFP stats
Wondering if anyone can help... looking at my weekly stat, the calories burned are much lower than calories consumed. Is this not accounting for the daily calories that my body uses just to exist? Or do I not have a calories deficit at all?

add an option for entering mg or percentages for vitamin a, c, d, iron, and calcium.
I was double checking my vitamins to see what information was listed in the app compared to the bottle; and it seems that companies usually list the dosages of each ingredient in mg instead of a percentage. I found that lots of vitamins that have been entered in the database already have put in the mg count instead of…

healthy grocery lists?
I need to go grocery shopping soon because the majority of the food in my home has been carbs, meat, and sugar up to this point. More light, vegetable-based cuisine and wholesome snacks are what I'm after. Does anyone use a shopping list that is heavier on vegetables? I want to buy asparagus, mixed vegetables, squash, and…

Hi, new here
Hello everyone. I'm Nora, here because I was looking for an app to help me track what I eat to determine reflux triggers (as in, after every meal or snack I would add it to the list so I could correlate symptoms to food), but I got sucked into setting a diet goal which was not what I was intending. Is it possible to delete…

My food diary doesn't reflect my goals properly.
For example, my protein goal is set to 200g per day. And my Calorie goal is 2000 per day. I set my tracking to percentages so that I could manually enter my calories. And I set my Protein percentage to 45% which reflected as 200g on the website. But, when I go to my food tracker, It says IM already in the minus/past my…

Supplement Tracking
It would be awesome if I could track supplements (vitamins/minerals.) Maybe even scan the barcodes. If micronutrients were added then these values would be very helpful to show where you may want to supplement.

Strength Training on Vegetarian Diet
I have been strength training for years. YEARS. Eight years to be exact. My max weights have plateaued for years. YEARS. About six years to be exact.
