Started on Jan 1st!
Hi all! I am new here and I have started C25k on Jan 1. I have done 2 days of week 1 so far and plan to do the 3rd day tomo. Since I am recovering from my foot fracture I am taking it slow and this program seems a safe way to start running long distance. Hi to all and hope to meet fellow runners!

Any Zombies, Run! users here? Is the premium version worth it?
Title says it all really - having recently upgraded my phone I can finally download the app, and have done one run so far (which certainly took some of the dread out of the treadmill). I'm planning on using it whenever bad weather forces me to the gym to run, which may be twice or three times a week, depending. Anyone here…

New Here!!!
Hey all I just and say hi, I just started this program today and so far so good. The only issue I've had is getting the 2 apps to connect together,if you guys know how then that would be awesome if not that fine too. I'm fortunate to be able to run indoors for now until i get my cold weather gear to run outside as I am…

July 2019 B210k group
I am creating this thread for graduates of c25k who plan to start B210k around July 2019 so that we can encourage each other.

Is anyone starting July 1st?
I am looking for a group that is starting in July, hoping to motivate others! I am doing C25k on the treadmill.

Question
Can you run on the spot for this program. Or should you be running outdoors?
-
Is this group still active?
Hi folks, I just started C25K a couple weeks ago. This morning (01 Oct 2019) I ran 3W1R. It *seems* to be getting easier... knock on wood. Is anyone else in this group just starting out? I have already committed to a race on 07 Dec 2019 and it would be nice to have some virtual running partners going through the same…

What time of day do you prefer running?
I'm curious about this! I'm a morning runner (and exerciser in general), but my husband far prefers the afternoon. Also, I'm running on our local school's track but there were far too many people for my liking at 10 AM...thinking about going earlier. If you run on a school track, what time do you find it to be less busy,…

Rest days?
What do you ladies do on rest days? I'm used to walking 4mph for 30 min every day. I've lost a bunch of weight doing that and decreasing my calories. I want to follow the C25K program and skip days between runs, just need advice on what to do on those days. I've finished week 2 just doing leg strength exercises on the off…

5k Sept 14th
Anyone training for a 5k in the next month? I had been running 3 miles about 4 times a week up until a few weeks ago when I didn't run for a while then shortened it down to 2 miles a couple times a week. Motivation in this heat (south USA) if ridiculous. So, I signed up today with a friend for a 5k Sept 14th and I've got a…

Couch to 5K by Active-app question
When using the Couch to 5K app by Active (on an Android phone), the high 5 and comments section covers the run pace in my log so that I can't view it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I would like to be able to view my run pace but it just isn't allowing me to do that.

Anyone starting tomorrow (May 31st)?
I've done C25K a few times years ago. I've gained weight and need to get on it! Anyone else starting tomorrow?

March 2019 group?
Hi all, I am starting the couch to 5k (again) this week. I am determined to finish it this time around and have no reason not too. Would love some support from others who have started around the same time. Is there a March 2019 group that I can join? I have had a look but could only fina a January group and those guys will…

Zenlabs app problem - can anyone help?
So, I've tried Zenlabs 3 times with no response, so wondering if anyone out there can help me... I downloaded the free C25K app, and decided on the in-app purchase called GoToPro so I could get distance and calorie info as well. I can't work out how to access it though! Should it have auto-installed? Do I need to download…

Jan 2019 group
Hi I’ve just finished week 1 of C25K. Is there a group for people at a similar level or anyone want to join me for support here? I used C25K to lose about 54 pounds (about 24 kg) 6 years ago and ended up with athlete level fitness. Stopped exercising and put it back on. Now I’m 15kg/33pounds down again and want to start…

roll call: treadmill or outside
i run outside. i used to run on a treadmill some years ago as I figured I could just run till I wanted to stop the get in the car and go home but now if I run on a treadmill I don't really feel like I'm running. more just trying to not fall over don't get me wrong. if you prefer running on a treadmill that is awesome. i…

My C25K diary
Hi All, Looking for some friends who are at a similar stage of C25k as me. I've just completed week 1 and actually for someone who hasn't run since 2012 I thought it went ok. Run 1 Sunday was around a squash court with my kids and husband playing ball games and intermittently joining in. Distance 0.53 mile/0.85km Av HR 99…

First 5K race question
I used a couch to 5K app on the treadmill. Now that I have signed up for my first 5K race, I’m wondering how difficult it will be to run it on the street after having only trained on the treadmill. Any advice?
-
How slow is too slow?
Is running 3.5 mph-3.8 mph as a beginner too slow? I plan on increasing speed as the weeks go by but find I need to start pretty slow. I prefer running outside where I can run at my own pace without worrying about mph, but winter in Illinois is preventing that.

Heavy runners?
Hi everyone! I am new here, and I just started c25k, I have done w1d1 and I really enjoyed it. I walk but I have never been a runner. At 235 lbs I am heavy though and I run slower than your grandma. Just curious if anyone who is or was a heavy runner as any advice about things to watch out for? Last thing I want is an…

starting again wednesday
After being forced to take off from running for six months due to hip injury I'm attempting my comeback on Wednesday with day 1 of the c25k app. It was an excellent app when I started back to running after having two babies in two years. I miss running so much and I'm looking forward to Wednesday. Wish me luck!

Robert Ullrey's C25K Podcast problem
Hello all, Some of Robert Ullrey's C25K Podcasts have been taken down by Google for violations of terms of service, what ever that means. I was wondering if anyone had copies of week two, four and five they could stick in their dropbox for me??? Thanks for the consideration Ben I was sourcing from:…

Anyone Going to Toronto Fan Expo and Doing the "Superpower 5K"?
I've registered to walk it, but I'm training to run. (Early registration was February. At that point, I didn't think I'd be able to; I've been walking two hours daily. Then I realized that I was usually walking about 3.5 mph, in other words a daily 10K. And suddenly training to run half that distance started sounding…

At 46 yrs old, I'm doing my first 5k (baby steps)
So after years of doing it "my way", I finally listened to my wife and started tracking my food. Turns out that after a month of doing this I've lost 10 lbs. Weird! I've also been a vegetarian for a month. For a guy who is use to eating meat at every meal, this change has been surprising easy with no cravings. I also tore…

Time vs distance - Slow person training for 5k
Hello! I'm using the ZenLabs C25k program and just finished Week 7 Day 1. (I did the whole 8 weeks last summer, then didn't run over the winter so I started over.) I should finish Week 8 on July 30, and signed up for my first official 5k on August 11. My issue is my speed. I've been running based on time rather than…

Daily Check In Thread
I swore there use to be one of these, but I'm not seeing it on the first two pages. For those of us who want to talk about their run but don't want to start a whole new thread every time, check in here!

Starting today, with week 1/day 1
Hi, all - I am starting C25K today. Anyone else at the same point? My history: I did C25K in the fall, starting at week 4 and ending right after Thanksgiving. I haven't run (or otherwise worked out) at all since then, so I feel like it will be best to start over now and take it slowly. I've been in a very busy period at…

Started week 3
Today it will be my second run from week 3. The first one went better than I thought. Today it may be worse, cause I am going to go after work, where I walk all day. But I will survive:)

Treadmill vs Outdoors
I can run for 25-30 consecutive minutes on the treadmill, and with a little bit of walking before and after I make it to the 5k mark. I recently took my show on the road though and found that I am struggling to run for 2-3 minutes without stopping. I'm going to start over again at the beginning on week 1 day 1 and do it…
