Another look at Leslie
One of my friends posted some new pictures of our "Walk Concert" with Leslie back in March. This photo cracked me up. That poor woman met hundreds of people yet seemed so genuinely interested in my story. I just love her, and I'm glad to be in a group with all of you who love her, too! Walk on! [/URL]

Way to estimate calories burned w/o heart monitor ?
Hello, I've just started exercising and doing Leslie's videos a couple weeks ago. I'm quite big - I am 5'5" and 275#. Is there a way to estimate how much I'm burning? I have downloaded a pedomiter app on my phone and it says I'm burning 300+ by my steps but I know we do more than just walking with her videos. I downloaded…

Newbie looking for active pals.
Hello! I'm a SAHM of 3 boys and this is my second round on MFP. I lost 50lbs my first year, took what was suppose to be a short break- which turned into a year while I attended school. I gained half of what I lost plus a little extra. I'm looking for active and motivated pals with open diaries so we can all hold ourselves…

How much do you burn?
For those of you who have heart rate monitors, how much do you burn when you do your Leslie DVDs? I'm 5'5", 180 lbs. I burn an average of 200 calories per mile. I usually do 4-5 miles at a time, so that's an awesome workout!

Using Leslie With Other Programs
I'm a huge Leslie Sansone fan all the way back to Walt Away the Pounds on VHS (remember that ab belt thing?). I have several Walk at Home DVDs, but I plan to use Jillian's Body Revolution as my main workout and work in the Walking DVDs a couple of nights a week. Is anything else using Leslie with another program rather…

South Beach Diet
As many of you know, I'm a sugar and starch addict, shopping too. I have been angry, bitter and depressed recently, which is why I've been mostly silent lately. I just haven't had the energy or motivation to post or exercise much, and my calories have been off the wall!!! Either 1200ish or 2000+. I can't take the crushing…

Body Type
Yesterday I got curious about body type, so I looked up articles and calculators about it. One said I was a ruler or banana. One said I was an hourglass, and the third said I was a pear. My bust is 40.25" waist 36.5", and hips 42.25". Any help, please?

Dumbell Work
Hi, it's Sue... As most of you know I have cerebral palsy. I can't do all the exercises an able bodied person can do but I try. My question is twofold: I'm using 3 pound weights and doing overhead presses, chest presses, bicep curls, and punches. I do about between 10 reps and 50 reps each session and thus far have only…

Leslie Challenge for April?
I joined the group too late to get in on the March challenge and was hoping there would be one for April. My April goal is modest (30 miles) because I'm also doing Jillian's Body Revolution, but I like to mix up my routines and always love my Leslie DVDs, A challenge gives me incentive to pop them in and work!

Is Being Overweight An Eating Disorder?
Dear Leslie Peeps, You all know that I've been struggling with body image issues...the fat person inside trying to come back out, disgust with some physical defects that I have. Also trying to at least cut back on sugar, which has been an eye opener. It's complex and not likely to get any easier. We have this love/hate…

What do you wear to work out?
Hi all, I am just getting back into the walk at home programs. I was wondering what everyone wears to work out? I think I am going to wear some sweat capris and a loose t Shirt. I am not sure what kind of shoes I should wear. I guess maybe the most comfortable ones? Anybody want to share what kind of shoes they think is…

The Fat Person Inside
I'm sad and scared as I write this so please bear with me... I've been told for over a decade inside every fat person there's a skinny person waiting to get out. For a long time I was resigned to being a size 20, and even at one point bought some fancy new clothes in that size because I thought I'd never be able to lose…
