770 today; currently my record, since joining just over five years ago.

My resilience. I'm middle aged, have autoimmune challenges, and 31 or 32 (I lost count) pieces of metal in my feet, legs, and hips, for various reasons...but can't quit, won't quit; I am well nigh indomitable. 💪💪💪

My most recent NSV --work with me here-- was raising my goal weight by 5 lbs. It's just more achievable, and still a perfectly healthy weight, and I feel like this is me accepting myself more realistically and I'm actually finding it motivating.

Yes, I have a friend who lost 150 lbs over a couple of years, by cutting out junk food and walking *everywhere*. She never even counted calories, but she was walking a few miles a day, which gave her enough of a calorie deficit.

Hi Ladies! Long time no --well, anything, really. I'm finally starting to read some of the posts again. <3 A quick update, in return: The job is awesome! I hit the 90-day mark and was told they can't believe how well I'm turning out and they hope I stay for years and years. I'm just loving it, myself. The athletic club I…

Ninety days left in the year! I still work all the time, but think of you ladies often. :flowerforyou:

Ah I found you. I just can't participate right now; it's more than I can do...but I didn't want to lose you   :flowerforyou: Larisa in Seattle

I'm in Seattle...Belltown, to be specific. :)

Oh Ladies, I got way behind again, and I don't think I can catch up on 278 messages, during the work week. I'm just going to rejoin you on the coming. weekend, and try to keep up from there. I hope everyone is doing reasonably well. I've been enjoying all the photos, and happy to see all the people trying out kettlebells…

Re in TX I don't think I'm a "legend", but I am that lady who came in to exercise on crutches, on scooters, in casts, on a walker...so they enjoy telling people about me. Oh, wait...I guess that is a bit, umm, legendary. Karen in Virginia and miakoda40 Thanks, ain't she perdy? I ground my coffee and brushed my…

WITNESSING, yo! August? What? How? I haven't even thought about goals. I'm back on track after struggling for a couple weeks...first the exercise got hit-or-miss, then I broke my ketosis. Of course, I had a migraine... Goal Number 1: figure out more concrete goals! I took Sonja out for brand-new wheels, and a…

Happy Weekend, ladies! I broke in a new trainer yesterday; she's a big skier, with a degree in sports kinesiology, and young enough to be my daughter. My old trainer made such a big deal of me, she was kind of intimidated, oh my goodness. All that aside, I think we're going to get along great...and my hip and low back…

Okay, I had to scroll back and see the baby pictures from Mary and Heather. SO GREAT! <3  and it it gave me a chance to skim the other updates, so I'm feeling a little more caught up now. I'm going to have weeks like this, being employed full-time-and-then-some, but I appreciate this group so much! You are all…

Good morning, Ladies! I look forward to keeping up with your adventures all weekend. Meanwhile, random updates: I got new X-rays yesterday, and found out the persistent pain and limited range of motion is because I have bone hitting metal. :unamused: This is actually not that bad of news, though, because the bone…

Three HUNDRED and forty-five missed messages? GAAH that is not going to happen. My loss. Hi ladies!

The swim workshop was kind of amazing. Twice a day for two days, we got in the pool and did drills for an hour or so, then swam for half an hour to an hour, then went into a classroom to analyze videos of ourselves swimming...then back to the pool. I slept an extra four hours yesterday....I could sleep some more. It was…

Heather, Bea is the most marvelous thing I've seen all day. Thank you <3

Good evening, Ladies! Swim workshop has been awesome so far and resumes in under 12 hours...I have to be on a bus in 10 and a half...good night. <3

SWIM WORKSHOP SO EXCITED According to the schedule there will be three hours of actual swimming today, and about four, tomorrow. The rest will be classroom presentation and going over videos of us swimming. Umm. I should shave.
-
Wow you are made of sterner stuff than I. I *require* 7 hours...I like 8.
-
Yep, I read when I can, post when I can, and just... like the world a little better, for knowing y'all are in it. <3

GAAAH I'm so sorry! That sounds terribly painful. :frowning:

Thanks, Linda! I am pretty healthy, I think... my main reason for needing to weigh significantly less, is I really don't want to outlive my weight-bearing metal bits. Bahahahah! I just figure I'm being punished for something  Thanks everyone for all the compliments! I've been feeling pretty since I started…
