So since OP didn't mention any food intolerances, why should she do this plan, since that was your entire argument?
It's not my entire argument, it's just a reason to consider. I didn't realize I was intolerant to those foods until I cut them out and I felt better. Sometimes we don't realize we are dealing with…

And what if one shows no symptoms of a food intolerance?
Then it's a food your body tolerates well. Karen

Sometimes our bodies have an intolerance to certain foods and one effective way to know if you do, is to eliminate from your diet for 30 days. Then introduce one food at a time for 2-3 days and see if your body has any adverse reactions (usually IBS related). For example, milk and wheat are two foods I need to stay away…

There are lots of variations and yes there is some bread that is Paleo but it is expensive and very dense and takes getting used to. There are also new names for the Paleo diet (like Whole 30). Generally it's no grains, no refined sugar, no legumes (beans), no dairy. So that's meat, fruits, veggies, and healthy nuts/oils…

Log everything you eat, make healthier choices (not necessary a lot at once), and find an activity you enjoy and do it. Karen

I've been on a strict Paleo for 2 months. I've lost 12 lbs eating 1500 calories a day with a goal of eating 130g of protein a day, which on Paleo is challenging, but I have a rhythm now. No dairy, grains, added sugar (to include honey or maple syrup), or legumes. I feel good, think more clearly and have lots more energy. I…

Eat less and move more. Don't over think it. Find an exercise you enjoy doing, anything that gets you moving and do it. Karen

I've read it twice, in need of reading it again!

Good for you. While yes, you can hit your goal weight and maintain it by learning moderation, there is something to be said for not eating processed artificial foods. Each of us are on our own journey and I respect those who eat all things in moderation and those who choose to abstain from certain foods. God bless, Karen

I have a FitBit Force and I just use FitBit to monitor my calorie deficit. I have MFP set to sedentary since walking is my primary source of exercise. but I don't pay much attention to my TDEE on MFP. Sorry I couldn't be more help, I just don't think there is any way to get them close. God bless, Karen

You look fantastic, what an accomplishment to have logged so many days in a row! Thanks for sharing your story with us. God bless, Karen

Unfortunately I have found that my belly fat is the last of the weight I lose. It seems as though my body holds on to the fat closest to my waist and hips. God bless, Karen

I have done that kind of 180 degree turn, (but have never smoked) and it took several days for my body to adjust. I went through a junk food withdrawal, but it passed and then felt awesome! Just stick it out for a few more days. The nicotine withdrawals I have no experience with however, they may take longer. God bless,…

I find that I don't have to say anything, but people are so used to me at my current weight, that when I get to my goal weight (which is in the middle of my healthy weight range) they start making judgments that I'm too skinny. I even had an acquaintance yell it out her car at me as she drove by. I talked to my dr about my…

I've had a FitBit One and now a FitBit Force, I've been using it since May and love it. I total think it's work the money and I find it motivating to keep my steps up. I used to have a Bodybugg and the accuracy is the same with both, but fitbit doesn't require a separate monthly fee to use it. God bless, Karen

I deal with "you're too skinny" remarks when I'm in the middle of my healthy weight range and I need to learn to not let it get to me because you are absolutely right, my weight loss has nothing to do with anyone else's weight. Thanks God bless, Karen

I'm interested! God bless, Karen

I eat about 1500 calories a day sometimes a little less. The bulk of my exercise comes from walking my kids to school which takes me about an hour and I do a 2-3 weight training exercises about 3 days a week. I have reached my goal weight before weight 1500 calories or more a day. I say more because last year as I got…

There are no words to describe your accomplishment! Way to go! And thanks for sharing with everyone what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. God bless, Karen

Don't too hard on yourself. There's nothing wrong with just walking for the first few weeks. Challenging yourself is good to a point, but not so much that you quit working out. The goal is to find the balance. God bless, Karen

I so know your struggles. My recommendation would be to change things up. Diet or exercise or both. Sometimes when you do the same thing for too long your body gets used to your doing and adjusts your metabolism. God bless, Karen

Whatever you will do that involves moving. I like walking so I walk. I also recommend trying different things, like swimming, or different exercise equipment. God bless, Karen

You look great! Fantastic job, way to stay with it! I love my fitbit too! God bless, Karen
