So those who are starving - when you don't fuel your body with adequate nutrients you body starts eating up the muscle for fuel. No more fat, very decreased amount of muscle - what do you have left? Bones.

Yup, OCPs (oral contraceptive pills) are not 100%. Maybe wait another week and if your period is still late I highly recommend making your Doctor's appt a little earlier. :)
