  • I know this is an old thread, but I love to see how everyone feels on this subject. I weigh myself an average of three times a week and love the data. I also do much better with daily weigh-ins so I'm striving for that again. Weigh-ins keep me empowered.
  • It depends because everyone is a little bit different. What I am realizing is that what works for me (Keto) might not work for you. I like to stick to not eating processed food (I actually thinks staying away from processed food is for everyone), high fat, moderate protein and low carb. Also, intermittent fasting is the…
  • If you don’t already you should follow @voodooqueene on YouTube. She has some great info
  • He benefit of fasting on Keto for me has been to learn what real hunger feels like. It turns out I am rarely hungry, I’m just having head hunger. It is teaching me how to intuitively eat. Love that lots of people are discovering it at the same time I am. Why didn’t I do this years ago?
  • I have been using pink himelean sea salt and feel really great.
  • I’d love to connect. Just sent you a friend request.
  • I am only 6 months postop and have been eating salads the last month. It's so weird I actually crave salads now. Who am I? Lol. I think of you want one it means your body is craving the nutrition. I even saw a great YouTube from a bariatric surgeon before my surgery and he recommends you have them everyday. Basically, he…
  • I believe he does do skin removal and he was so wonderful with the kindest staff. Hi name is Dr. Kelly Ramos and I would absolutely recommend you call him. Let him know jeni lamberto referred you. Can't wait to have some plastics. Keep me posted !
  • I am 5 feet tall. I had to have the surgery in Mexico due to a lowere bmi. I was just under the wire for bmi in the states.
  • So excited for you!!!!! Sounds exciting with the snow storm. I am 4 months out on the 15th. You are going to love it!
  • I'm 4 months out and have had surprising small struggles. I removed the peanut butter and cocoa dusted almo from my house entirely. I know now that I can't have any of it around. Any kind of carb or "slider food." You seem to be doing amazing with your weight loss!
  • I love your attitude surrounding this opportunity. I am scheduled for my surgery 11/15/16 and I am hoping to have the same positive outlook. WooHoo!
  • Some people are motivated by calorie burn and I am surely one of them. I love counting food calories and exercise calories. My biggest hurdle is weighing regularly. If I did that I'd be in better shape. If your interested in calorie burn during exercise, buy an inexpensive polar ft4. I had one for 2 years and then it…
  • Wow, I love all of this feedback. Thank you. When I am weighing in regularly, I definitely tend to stay on track and I have always preferred a first thing in the morning weighin. I will keep ya'll posted as to the progress.
  • I'm 42 and have been struggling to also take the last 15-20 off. I know it's my diet and my love of a great cocktail. I average 3.5 days a week of intense exercise now, but I love to eat.
  • I actually found most of it helpful. I have lost almost 40 pounds since August of 2013. I have around 15-20 more to take off. I took this weight off from counting calories and working out around 3.5 days a week on average....working out Rocky style (CrossFit). :-) I am not sure of the number since I have been lifting for…
  • Crossfit saved my life. It took me a while to get my diet straight after I started Crossfit, but as soon as I did i lost a ton of weight and i am in the best shape of my life. I'm typically the last one to finish the wod , but I'm thrilled with the process.
  • Running and single unders always helps. I personally hate running, but I always lean out faster when my program is heavy on the running. Single unders work too and are a little more fun.
  • I have also had an issue ove the past year or so with my ears that seems to be connected with extreme exercise. i have been surfing the net and of course I'm officially freaked out. My ears have felt extremely "plugged" for the past 48 hours and of course it's on the heals of a heavy fitness week. Last week I went to…
  • Congrats! I am so thankful that I know how to lift heavy as well. My weight loss experience would be totally different without it.
  • When I need to shake things up, I join a crossfit for a month or two. I m currently signed up for September and October. It's very intense, community base and lots of fun. It also improves my workouts when I'm going to the gym for solo workouts.
  • I am also hypothyroid and I ignored it for years. I have been doing Crossfit for 3-4 years and just couldn't take off the weight. In August, I decided to get my thyroid straight once and for all after weighing in at an all time high of 186.5! I am only 5ft so that is a tall persons equivalent of the 200's. I go to a doctor…
  • What an inspiring story. Keep up the great work!
  • One thing we all know to be true, there is no telling what the real story is so it's silly to compare any of our personal journeys to her. She appears to struggle to keep the weight off like I do so I hope she's losing it through a healthy diet and lots of exercise. I have heard that she is working out with Kanye's trainer…
  • When i workout at home I do a variation of burpees, air squats, sit-ups, push ups, 15 pound slam balls, 35 pound kettlebell swings (Again Faster brnd since they don't get slip with sweat) and I use my RX jump rope. I do several rounds for time. Always kicks my butt.
  • Thanks, I'll try that. I'll let you know how it works out.
  • Thanks for helping! Where do you wear it on your calf?
