  • My super lazy and yummy chicken marinade (best for grilling): olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dijon or whole grain mustard, salt, and a squirt of lemon. Nom!
  • There's a good workout program on YouTube - BeFit 30-day butt lift. Free and all you need are some dumbells. Here is the link to the proposed workout "schedule" www.lionsgatebefit.com/30daybuttlift.pdf‎. I work this into my usual workout routine and I enjoy it.
  • Just to add from my own personal experience... One week on IF (18:6 schedule) resulted in a small intestinal bacterial overgrowth that took me 2 months to correct. It actually worked great...I lost a pound in 1 week after only 2 pounds in the previous year. However, I could definitely feel that it was messing with my…
  • Do you have any specialty bra stores around? I got mine at Intimacy (http://myintimacy.com/). It was $80 but you get what you pay for. I've had it for over a year and the girls absolutely STAY PUT...even with the serious jumping moves. Invest in a good one and hand wash it. Best of luck! :)
  • Have you tried any relaxation techniques (e.g., hot bath, massage, meditation)? Perhaps it's tension related?
  • Make your own mayo. It's super easy and cheap. Plus, there are no mystery ingredients. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/anne-burrell/homemade-mayonnaise-recipe/index.html
  • I love diving so much that I made it part of my job :) Here's an awesome hint from someone who wriggles in and out of wetsuits all the time...buy yourself a lycra dive skin to wear under your neoprene wetsuit. They are stretchy and made of a very thin lycra material. Putting the dive skin on first makes pulling on a…
  • Large roach in my salad at Outback. I have a huge roach phobia. They gave me lots of $$ in gift certificates, but I had to give them away b/c I get grossed-out at the thought of going there.
  • Congratulations!!!! And thank you for sending out this important message. You have a fantastic attitude! :flowerforyou:
  • I dive for work regularly. I sure do love my job (sometimes....not always)
  • @amyotte1992 - chin and smile
  • Homemade hot cocoa. Just organic cocoa powder, organic milk, stevia, and a dash of vanilla extract. Yummy and satisfying.
  • Straight leg deadlifts are great for hamstrings. You do NOT need a lot of weight to make these effective. http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/dumbbell-straight-leg-deadlift
  • I don't have an answer to your original question, but you might consider giving the Kashi frozen meals a try. I'm a food package reader and I noticed you can actually read all the ingredients in the list without struggling.
  • @1ocean1girl -- I've seen a million sharks, but I've only seen a tiger once. I was diving in the Gulf of Mexico at the Flower Garden Banks (about 100 miles off the coast of Texas/Louisiana) in the winter. It was beautiful and really skittish. I also saw my only whale shark there (summer). That was absolutely breathtaking!!!
  • Hi, everyone! My name is Beth and I'm a marine biologist and scientific diver living in Miami. I've been diving for 18 years now and dive mostly for work, although I love to take dive trips to the Indo-Pacific and other faraway destinations.
  • Cottage cheese!!!! I like to mix it in after the eggs are mostly cooked. It melts and makes them nice and creamy with lots of extra protein.
  • 1. Salad spinner!!! (I buy local greens and it cuts down on all the handling, since you can wash and spin dry in one bowl) 2. Food processor (for quick veggie chopping and to make my own salad dressings) 3. Misto oil sprayer (no chemical propellants) 4. Immersion blender (quick and easy proteing shakes/smoothies)
  • @gitanagril - the squirrel...pure awesomeness.
  • Chocolate Chia Pudding!!! It's kinda like a version of tapioca pudding and my favorite way to eat chia. http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2012/01/chocolate-chia-pudding-and-other-sugar-free-flour-free-desserts.html
  • Fantastic work! Way to stick it out and push through the "stuck scale" woes. I have the same issues and constantly remind myself that it's ALL about how you look and feel! :)
  • Thank you for this!!!!

  • Let the PB dry up first. Then use a dry toothbrush to brush it off (preferably upside down or at an angle to prevent PB from getting lodged in keyboard). Then a wet q-tip to remove any residue.
  • Emotional eating is something that many, many people struggle with. Try mind distraction techniques: calling someone, reading, cleaning...whatever you can find that will work for you. Taking walks in a pretty place often does wonders for me. The endorphins released during exercise will help tremendously.
  • I'm just wrapping up my grad school nightmare...defending my thesis in a few weeks :) I work full-time and school was part-time for me. Like others have said, take 20 minutes a day for a workout (30 day shred is great for a good all-over workout in only 20 minutes). Also, I made nearly all of my meals on the weekend and…
  • From personal experience....UP YOUR CALORIES. When I did it about a year ago, I was not eating enough (I wasn't logging at the time). I did not lose much at all (weight or inches), although I did gain strength and endurance. I was probably eating 1200C or less per day. That was not enough fuel even though I'm small (5'…
  • I add kale to all of my soups and it's surprisingly good in chili. I also second the recommendation for kale chips. Enjoy! :)
