I'm down 18 but I have about 90 left to go. Feel free to add me
-
I'm aiming for 100 too :)

Love my blaze. It's really helpful in keeping me on track with my steps, as well as it keeps me pushing through my workouts to see if I can burn a bit more calories than the day before
-
I have to really keep an eye on my sodium intake. I can't go within 400 of my daily limit otherwise I'll "gain".
-
Don't mean to be rude, but if you're having trouble eating 1200 calories then you wouldn't be on here in the first place. You're not having a problem with eating, you're stressing over your food way too much. I did the same thing when I started. It doesn't take much to add calories. On top of what you're eating already…

I don't understand why women are so worried about this stuff. I just had a conversation about this with my friend who just got a tummy tuck and boob job. And now she hates that her thighs touch, she hats the little tiny "fat roll" in front of her arms when wearing a tank top, the tiny little roll on her back when she bends…

You're eating 1200 cals a day? Up your calories by 150-300 and you'll start losing again.
-
If I'm over my sodium, or even 200 under, the scale goes up. It's not "weight" tho so don't worry about it. Also, if you've only been eating 1100-1200, I'd bump that back up. If I eat under 1250, I won't lose. I try to stay closer to 1400.
-
How's your sodium intake? Have you started any type of new exercise? How many calories are you consuming?
-
I'm a single mom and I work full time, also I have no desire to go to the gym for 2 hours. I lost all my weigh from mfp and working out at home. I bought a cheap, used elliptical. Also I bought the Jillian michaels DVDs. They are great! I did 30 day shred to start, but I did it twice. The first time I did the modified…

How many calories are you eating? I eat around 1250-1300 normally. But when I plateau I increase my cals by 100-200 and I start losing again within a couple days... Doesn't hurt to try.

Lots of people have good success without doing the bmr, tdee thing. I've lost 87 pounds in 16 months and I eat 1250-1400 calories a day. I'm healthy, my fitness level is great, and I got the ok from 3 doctors before I did this. They basically said everyone is different and if what I'm doing is working and I feel good, then…

I'm 5'8 and started at 248. I'm 159 now :) mfp is amazing!! Stick to it and you'll do great!
-
Make sure you take measurements. Sometimes you'll loose inches but the scale won't move. Up your calories by 100-200, that's what I do and it works for me :)
-
I don't eat back my exercise calories. I don't see the point in burning them off, then eating them back again. That being said, I only burn around 200-300 cals in a day. Lots of people do eat them back and have had success though, this is just my way and it's worked for me :)
-
I started with 30 day shred. You can check it out on amazon.com. It's an amazing workout! ... Sorry after doing her workouts, I'm a huge Jillian michaels fan lol.
-
Walking will help lots! I've heard couch to 5k is really good. I bought a chea elliptical for my apartment, as well as I bought some Jillian michaels DVDs. 30 day shred, ripped in 30, 6 week 6 pack are my favorites. I don't go to the gym because I'm a single mom, work full time, I don't have time. But these are really easy…

I log my routine under calisthenics and then I enter my time.

Drink lots of water. Lotion up. You'll probably be fine though. Just take your time in losing it. I lost 86 pounds in a little over a year and the only loose skin I have is on my stomach from being pregnant and staying overweight for 4 years. But also, I'll take my loose tummy at 160 pounds than my old 248 pound body,…

I agree, your bone structure is what makes you curvy. I was 248 pounds when I started and now I'm 160. I lost my boobs and my butt but I still have wide hips. My boobs are gone for good, and it sucks lol. But now I'm "trying" to build up my butt a bit. If you're only losing 20 pounds, your figure probably wot change too…

30 day shred gives really good results! I lost a lot! Of inches and toned right up! I'd stick with that for sure :) lots of cardio in that video too. Of course, if you want even better results, continuing your run would probably help. Maybe just cut in half?
-
You'll get a lot of personal opinions on this. Personally, I don't eat back my exercise calories. Seems pointless to me to sweat out those calories and then just eat it all back?? I mean if you're only eating 1600 calories a day and burning 1000, maybe you should eat some back. I eat 1300-1400 and only burn around 200-300…

I tried to run lots, but it felt like it took forever to get my endurance up! And my shins killed me. It wasn't enjoyable for me at all. So I did Jillian michaels 30 day shred instead. That got my cardio up soo much! Now I love to run! I almost felt too heavy before, and couldn't run for more than 2 minutes at a time. But…

I used to go out a couple times a month and have drinks. But I stopped. The calories aren't worth it to me. But I don't need to try to say no anymore, I just have no desire to waste my calories in that way.
-
I usually have an oatmeal bar or a couple cups of coffee first. Just to have something in my stomach. I get up at 4:30 to do my workouts.
-
You can count breast feeding as exercise. Just to be safe (keep your milk production) I'd log it then eat back those calories. You'll still lose weight :)
-
It's very possible! Back when I was 250 pounds, some weeks I'd lose a pound a day! It never ever came back. Even now, I'll be stuck at a certain weight for a week or two then drop 3-4 pounds within a coule days.
