Interesting post. I've been considering Paleo diet for a number of reasons as well. 1) My father was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and his nutritionist suggested that he try the Paleo diet. I've been cooking his meals for him so that meant I had to learn what it was all about. He's lost a ton of weight as a result of…

So I feel like a complete failure (yes I know that's not good talk) but I completely fell off the wagon - starting Friday and ended yesterday at dinner. Welcome! My main suggestion is to find a group. Any group will do. Just something that will help to keep you accountable and motivated. I know for me the June Starters (JUNE STARTERS ROCK!!!) was a good group. We have weekly check-ins and help to keep each other motivated. Once again welcome :) linne

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am very excited about this news just because it's nice to know it can be fixed with a little time and my hard work and persistence wasn't for nothing. And yes my hair was thinning. I already have really thin hair but it was coming out in chunks which made me a bit nervous. I didn't…

Fantastic! See that's what I've been bugging my mom to update hers. She has one of those 1960's ones too (doesn't go above 250 lbs.) She may be surprised at what she actually does weigh lol
-
I like the way you have it now with the before and during beside each other. Way easier to see the differences. And THANKS everyone :) It's been a hard journey but well worth it.

Slowly ticking away. Still not sure how I've lost weight over the holidays but won't be complaining. SW - 300 LW - 265.3 CW - 264.3

I think it's worth it but you may want to invest in something like Jillian for Wii or the Active Life ones... Wii Fit (and Plus) are ok but don't really work up much of a sweat. Good luck! :)

I did it! I exercised for 30 minutes (Jillian 30 day shred plus walking) on Thanksgiving! Really needed it after all that food.
-
Just finished day 2 on level 1. SO Proud of myself for doing this on thanksgiving!
-
YES! i am VERY proud of myself. Took a while but kept plugging away. It gave me motivation to step things up a bit actually. Started doing the Jillian 30 Day Shred (omg it kicked my butt) so I'm hoping that combined with the eating better will keep me going in the right direction.
-
Ok so I'm a little late but I went ahead and started the 30 day shred yesterday and all I have to say is OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hurt *laughs* Muscles that I didn't know I had are screaming at me. Laughing even hurts and I'm a happy person and laugh a lot. SUCKS! lol but like my co-worker keeps saying "Pain is weakness…

I'll give it a go if I can find some way to do it for free. It appears that it is a product you have to pay for?

i was bad but kind of needed something to endulge in... I had chocolate chip pancakes! :blushing: and a tall cup of mocha. You ever have those days where you've just been so good for so long and you need a tiny break to eat something unhealthy? Either way it only totals about 500 calories so I'm not too worried.
