  • Makes me glad I'm over 1/3 of my way through P90x! I actually think I haven't lost a single pound yet but I know my clothes fit better and I'm much stronger in all areas. While for me, I want the scale to go down, I know there is more than just that number. This morning was my 'Plyometrics' and I completed the whole thing,…
  • I can relate to your story-I started at 238 and lost the first 40lbs by July last year and have been in the same 3-5lb range now. I have increased my exercise and changed it up a little. I know where I am struggling, I have PCOS and struggle without medication to do this the right way. I was hoping to avoid it altogether…
  • Nice Job! I just finished Day 11 myself and I'm loving it. I'm a pretty big girl but with all the exercise I've done in the last year I have built up quite some good endurance and my husband and I are loving it. It is a great time commitment because we have to get up super early for both of us to get it done together at…
  • I just have to say, that I saved this thread so that I could make them sometime and it was AWESOME! I'm excited to try the salt & vinegar ones but they were just what I needed. My husband opened up a bag of chips to have with his lunch and the whole day I was trying to sneak some and so I thought there is no better time to…
  • Congratulations and well done!!! What a great reward. :)
  • I can totally relate to your motivation and PCOS issues. I'm feeling like I did so well getting almost 50lbs off of me and now that I have about 40 more to go, I can't find that motivation. Heck if I got another 20 off I'd be so thankful and happy. BUT for some reason I can't pull it together. I actually want to see my…
  • Hi everyone! I started at 190.6 and ended this morning at 188.3. I'm struggling with this set of pounds here -seems I was getting stuck every 10 and now it is every 5. But I'm going to push through this too. I continue to feel better and healthier and stronger-so I should measure that too! :) Anyway-lost 2.3lbs....not too…
  • I'm in again! Hopefully week one won't be a gain (like it was for me last time) My weigh in this morning was (up a little) to 190.6 --hoping in two weeks to be well into the 180's and not going back! :) Good luck everyone.
  • Definitely didn't win-started at 189. (Something) and ended at 188.3. But it was a good feeling-I finally hit my 50lb loss mark-so I'm happy!!! :) Hoping next time I can lose better in two weeks.
  • Great job!! What an inspiration!!! I'm currently at what you started at and that's 50lbs down for me. I can't wait until I'm another 25! I'm going to be feeling so good about this. Congrats and keep up that good work those last 15 will be off before you realize it! :)
  • I never saw this before but I'd love to join in (that is, if you'll let me!!!) My weigh in is 189.7. :)
  • That's a really good idea! I wish I had a treadmill so that I could watch it and know how far I'm running. But I really like that idea!!!! I'm going to use that with my support group I lead. I think that it can help those of us that have the tendency to sit down for a show and then complain they aren't getting enough…
  • I feel the same way from time to time - are you exercising - it could be a gain of muscle this week as well. But I can tell you, I plateau almost every 10lbs too. I have learned to not give up during that phase but to keep going on because this isn't a change for now it is a lifestyle I am planning to live.
  • Welcome - this site really has changed my life....I never understood why you would track your food so closely and it has really helped shape my eating habits to see it! I am a little more than half way to goal and I'm excited at already what has happened. Best of luck in your journey! :)
  • Thanks for posting - just finished 16oz. I am up to 8 now for the day!! :)
  • It is recommended that we don't go below 1200 calories in one day. Some days getting close is great but you have quite a small amount of calories. In my journey so far, I had a great period where I stopped losing. I believe I was eating just under 1200 and it was just a tad too little and all the my effort wasn't showing a…
  • I usually do it with my sneakers on. I have done it without and it wasn't as comfortable! Good job though! :) Keep up the good work.
  • I did it- LOVED it and saw amazing results. I'm starting it back up again - and today I feel it!! I lost almost all of the almost 40lbs I lost from it-and then I took almost the whole summer and slacked off :( --but it was good. I wasn't sure I'd get a lot out of it but I did it and loved it. Now I'm starting it again…
  • That's really awesome to know - I start Monday night. I'm coordinating the start of it at our church building-as well as a 'weight loss group' and I'm EXCITED!!!!! I hope I love it - I really want the group exercise now - you know, now that I"ve lost a little and don't feel as self-conscious as I did in my body before.
  • Nice job-you sure can tell the difference!! Keep up the good work. :) Many blessings to you!
  • I completed the 'Shred' and LOVED it. I did see a weight loss difference. I am a heavier woman, so since I started I lost about 35-40lbs. (of the 45lbs I lost). Now, because I was heavy, I did each level for 30 days. So, I really did 'the 90 day shred' - hahaha. But it was good for me and proved great results. I have moved…
  • I'm no expert on the 30 Day Shred, but I'm living proof it works!! I have done all three levels, I'm just about finished with level 3. I'd say 90% of the weight I lost (45lbs) has been because of the Shred. I was up to 238 when I started I'm at 191. I'm excited and proud of how far I made it. I remember day 1 of Level 1…
  • Congratulations!!!!!! What an amazing accomplishment, you should be very proud of yourself. What a lifestyle change. I'm hoping soon to hit that goal - I had a 'mid-week' weigh in (snuck it in and was down another almost 2 already!) So I'm hoping soon I can be down 50!! I'd be such a change for me to finally hit the…
  • I'm in your same position. I was doing the 30 Day shred now...for a long while. I worked my way up to Level 3...and now I started adding some jogging to my workouts and I have gotten up to about 2 miles and then walking a very brisk last mile 2-3 times a week. I went from losing (and at a very good pace) to gaining and…
  • It sure is wonderful. I cry when I have to go somewhere now, I have no clothing in my present size. I've come from a size 22 I'm now at just about a 16 and I'm just about out of clothing. I put on a skirt today for church and it fell back down--and my belts are now big--it's a wonderful feeling...but I don't want to waste…
  • I'm struggling too with my scale. I lost now 40 some pounds and I started at 238....the other day I stepped on it and it told me I weighed 359!!!! I thought, wow, my foods today were a little off! hahahaha. So I found a cheap one to 'try' from a friend just to see if it works better, but I gained so much on it! lol. I…
  • I'm still losing my after pregnancy weight-although I was heavy prior to pregnancy due to some health factors.
  • I can join in this group too-I've had PCOS for many years now. It took us just about five years to have children and it was a frightening time. I never thought this weight would come off-especially without the help of Met and a BCP but I'm proving them wrong and I want to get myself back to a healthy weight and then decide…
  • Nice Job! It sure is a great step--and you know what soon you'll look back and say, gosh I struggled on this? Keep up that positive attitude and hard work!!!
  • Congrats--I just got there myself too! It was my goal for the longest time, after I plateaued at 204 for a while! BUT it's AMAZING! I think we have about the same goals--I think the 170's are my next step on the BMI Scale too!!! WAHOO!! Keep up the great work. Feels fantastic, I am sure.
