In the past I have been a yo yo dieter & would give away clothes only to gain it back and have to buy more clothes, so I have kept them. My plan is to put them in storage & get rid of them after a year, But I also keep the clothes that are too small. This time I am determined to lose the weight and keep it off for good.

Are you eating a lot of fruit and vegetables? I haven't done weight watchers in awhile, but I know they used to be zero points because of the nutritional value. If you eat a lot of them, that could also add up, but as my leader used to say she never heard of anyone getting fat from eating too many vegetables.

I am following Dr Ian Smith's Shred Revolution diet right now and he has us eating 4 meals & 3 snacks a day. The snacks are 100 or 150 calories & meals vary 200-300 usually. It has worked - lost 14 pounds the first 3 weeks. Many weight loss plans have you eating every 3 or 4 hours to keep your metabolism going.

I think tracking everything I eat, made me more aware of how much I ate & also the calorie count of food out there. So many foods I thought was healthy turned out to be a diet killer. Also planning out what I am going to eat - esp if I am going out.

When you entered your figures into MFP, did you put in your exercise and how much you want to lose each week? I don't think you are eating enough - 1000 - 1100 calories a day do not seem to be enough with the exercise you are doing. I cannot run at this time, too many health problems, so I walk, ride a stationary bike & do DVD workouts and eel they have been helpful, still have a long way to go, but I try to work at it hard enough to get my heart rate up.

My daughter graduates from high school on June 15th - would love to be at 199 or as close to it as possible. It's not my goal weight, but it just sounds so much better than being in the 200"s

I used to process medical claims - knew someone who's name was Baby Girl - couldn't think of a name!. Also someone named their kids Brandy & Decanter. I named my daughter Noelle(and no she wasn't born at Christmas) as her grandmother was french. Slightly unusual, but not off the beaten track.

I am going to enjoy all the food, but in moderation, its one meal. I am making a couple of dishes that are lower in calories & a salad to help keep things in check. I will also take a long walk that day to help counter the extra food. Luckily I am going to my parents, so no leftovers.

It is difficult to lose weight if you are dating or involved with someone who does not share your outlook. My boyfriend lost some weight, but then stopped & at times he is supportive, but at times he is not & when he gets to that point it can be really hard to lose. I finally realized that there was no easy way to lose & had to do it, was tired of being held back because of my weight. Plus hearing about Rosie O'Donnell, who is my age having a heart attack. That really hit home.

I OD'd on candy after Halloween, luckily have lost the taste for most of it, but have some candy corn left, so I save it for evening & can only have it if I have calories left. So far its working, my downfall it salty snacks, so I don't buy them & stick to popcorn. Self control is not my strong point!

I have tried this diet, it was difficult for me because I am lactose intolerant and couldn't handle two servings of yogurt every day. I know by day 18 I was craving red meat! Good luck!

I know what you mean! I try to eat more salad, veggies, popcorn etc, but I also find if I eat something with a little fat in it, it helps to satisfy the hungries. So I might add some avocado or lean protein to my meal.

I weigh myself in the morning, I feel that is my true weight. When I was doing weight watchers, I would fast for 4 or 5 hours to try and get the best reading on the scale. But I do limit it to once a week - usually Saturday or Sunday.
