I have a huge problem with sugar. I would buy a bag of gum drops or jelly beans almost every day. My answer, just don't buy anything with sugar. Don't have any in your home and don't stop at any 7/11.

heck yes! I just restarted on this journey and cringe when I think about all the junk I ate. Whether it is true or not...how good can sugar be? fruit only for me now...maybe a little dark chocolate

how about politely telling him you'd appreciate it if he would not stare at you or stand at the door checking out your students while you are teaching? If he is innocent he will be embarrassed, if guilty he will be aware his behavior is noticed.

I'm 55, started this at 54. I figured it was to late for me to lose weight. I lost 12 lbs. before starting, so totally now I have lost 55 lbs. It was easy when I was motivated, now I am just maintaining I did no exercise except gardening (heavy duty clearing land etc..) I ate 1200 cal. If your mom "friends" me she can see…

I quit smoking, quit sleeping and quit losing weight all at the same time. I think I can't sleep cuz of nicotine withdrawals. I didn't know not sleeping could affect losing weight. Now, should I try melatonin or start smoking again>

You know, there isn't a person alive who really thinks a 500 cal. diet is healthy. Just look at her "friends". most want to get to 83 lbs.

Granola cereals will just about kill you with cals. I'm looking for one to mix with my greek yogurt. Kashi crunch is pretty good. Any other ideas?

My partner rode her bicycle across the USA, from San Diego CA to Ft Lauderdale FL, 3900 miles over 58 days and only lost 13 lbs. Everyone ate all sorts of stuff, because they needed energy....right!

I lost my first 35 lbs without working out. i did a lot of heavy duty gardening, that's it.

no broccoli or cauliflower? For real? Just about he time I started eating one or the other every day (at least 2 cups) I have stopped losing weight after doing well for 51/2 mo. I am hypothyroid as well.

Thanks. I decided I'd track the bike 20 min at 20 mph then 40 minutes of curves circuit minus 100 cal. I'm not fast yet and it takes me time to figure out how to use the machines. General circuit seems like way more cals burned than it feels like I'm burning.

I am a nutrition manager for a senior center and we get day old goodies from starbucks everyday! I'd like to say I never slip, but it wouldn't be true.......Hence my "quick calories" upon occasion. Just make sure you log it. I try to keep some kind of yummy 90 cal. bar in my desk to eat.
