Great job! I would not want to do Bloomington's hills on foot or bike-- I am impressed! The Mini next weekend is my first half, and I was thinking about doing the Women's Half. I love the idea of it being a women's race and the medal from last year was so pretty. But Purdue will be having their inaugural half in October so…

Congratulations!!! I  NSV's. Keep at it; you are doing great!

1st congrats on your upcoming C25K graduation!! If you haven't already done so I recommend signing-up for a 5K soon-- reward yourself by putting your training into action. After finishing it and running two 5K's I began the Bridge to 10K. It did not work well for me. I felt like I was backtracking with the…

Congratulations! That is a wonderful accomplishment!

I wouldn't say I like it, but I am addicted. Once I got off the treadmill and outside I didn't dread it. After my first 5K I began itching to run another race. Within an hour of finishing a quarter marathon I realized that I was stronger than I thought I was. I am not one of those people who giddily ties up their running…

I am doing the same thing but am one week behind you (I had to use a km to mile calculator lol). Each week I am afraid I am not going to be able to finish the extra mile.

My first HM is May 5th. I slacked off on my training runs during vacation last month and am about 3 weeks behind now. :embarassed: I am running a quarter marathon this weekend, fingers crossed.

Thank you so much!!! Your post is very helpful. I particularly like the idea of doing trail runs during the day. And Brian, "the most miserable run of my life" is exactly how it felt. Thanks all!

Love, love, love my Enell's!!!

Lunch does not get much thought around here; it is either something quick while my boys and I are between commitments or it is at a restaurant. Some of my go to quickies are: oatmeal, ham/turkey with some of a bagged salad on a slimwich round or in a tortilla, peanut butter sandwich, peanut butter on a banana, greek yogurt…

I started the Bridge to 10K today (moves from 5K to 10K). I completed the C25K months ago and have failed each attempt at this. Would love to be each other's cheering block. My 10K is on March 3rd.

I served baked pineapple with our ham last weekend, and it was a hit. I found the recipe on allrecipes.com.

Cold, wet, and miserable 2.5 miles

This summer my husband remarked how better he was sleeping. I assumed his stress level was down, the fresh air, etc was helping him. Then a couple weeks later my two year old was pretending to be asleep and snoring loudly. My five year old said, "No! Mommy doesn't sound like that anymore." That must have been what he was…

Personal best 5K tonight!! Bring on the Turkey Trot! :-)

Last year I would never have thought I would be running. In the morning. On Thanksgiving. But I am really looking forward to it. Best wishes to all the trotters.

10.6 pounds to go by the end of the year. That would put me at my pre-pregnancy weight (my oldest is 5, yikes).
