Rode 20 miles near the seaside this morning. It's a flat marshland without any significant altitude gains, good for fast rides, more or less the biking leg of Schiniathlon, a local tri event. The water looked inviting for a quick swim, but with the temperature at 50F I passed :ohwell:
As is written on my profile, one of my resolutions is to complete a metric century. Now, every single time I go on these longish 1-2 hour rides I can't stop thinking that I've got to replace my hybrid cross bike with a decent road bike. For the 100K ride, we're talking about shaving off a whole hour of saddle time :frown:
Back to the situation in hand, I'm at 113 miles for November, well on track to reach my 150 mile target.:bigsmile:
